Global Islamic State

Post by Shirib »

So what are your thoughts of having a global Islamic state, that encompasses all Muslim lands? Are you in favor of it, are you against it? Do you think its a good idea, bad idea? Do you think a global Islamic state will happen ever again in our lifetime? Discuss

We are at the period of tyranical rule
"Prophethood (meaning Muhammad (SAW) himself) will remain with you for as long as Allah wills it to remain, then Allah will raise it up whenever he wills to raise it up. Afterwards, there will be a Caliphate that follows the guidance of Prophethood remaining with you for as long as Allah wills it to remain. Then, He will raise it up whenever He wills to raise it up. Afterwards, there will be a reign of violently oppressive [The reign of Muslim kings who are partially unjust] rule and it will remain with you for as long as Allah wills it to remain. Then, there will be a reign of tyrannical rule and it will remain for as long as Allah wills it to remain. Then, Allah will raise it up whenever He wills to raise it up. Then, there will be a Caliphate that follows the guidance of Prophethood."

Isn't that what conspiracy theorists are afraid of? NWO, one monster state that controls everyone and everything? It being an "Islamic State" changes nothing, Muslims are human and humans are intrinsically corrupt.

I think idea is just one government for all Muslim countries. This wouldn't be a NWO but rather it would be kinda going backwards to old Islamic empires.

In theory yes, but in practice there is more chance of having a Somali prime minister in the UK.

Muslims are generally the most nationalistic and tribalist people.

Interconnected economies will bring nations together in the future, not religion.

Interesting, well there are a lot of Muslim countries who have interconnected economies, do u think that could be a preface? What do you think of the notion all together?

Since that ended so well? I think there would probably be a lot of infighting. Would the Saudis be the head, would the Iranians be? What about the Turks, they used to be last? Where does that leave the Asians and the Africans, what about all the non-Muslims in the world today? Oh and let's not forget the Shi'as...

We were made into nations for a reason.

It didn't end well, but for majority of its rule, it worked pretty well. We were made into nations because of European colonization. Nationalism was an alien concept before colonization. Majority of Muslim countries borders and sense of nationalism were drawn out of thin air.

And as to who will rule, those who want to establish it will rule.

The GCC is one example of Muslims coming together because of interconnected economies. They are trying to establish a common currency and perhaps political union in the near future. Their ranks are made up of the prosperous gulf countries, and although Yemen borders them all and is a Muslim Arab nation they are being denied admission because of their poverty.

The notion of Muslim unity is interesting, and I don’t have a problem with the idea per se. The European Union makes no secret that its foundation lies in the common Christian heritage of its member states. However, I also realize that the idea is unrealistic and chances of it ever occurring are very very slim.
