levels of mercury Whitenening Creams!

Will we be seeing some discolored/multi colored girls when they stop using that thing....or will they even bother to stop?
also wonder if there is a relationship btw these creams and the high # in childhood autism among Somali children? Ur thoughts

Mercury is a toxic metal which has been implicated in number of degenerative diseases, one of them being autism. Researchers have hypothesized that a well-known preservative, methylmercury which has been used to store anti-biotics in the past, could have accumulated in the bodies of children with autism. The scientific community have dispelled this idea saying the usage of methylmercury as a preservative in antibiotics could not be the cause since it has been banned from usage long time ago, and the incidenses of autism seem to be growing.

I believe, Mercury alone is not a causation for this disease but rather increases or predisposes a child to develop symptoms of autism. Other's include gest ational vitamin D deficiency, living in colder climates, which are both tied to the amount of sunlight your body receives. However, a number of warm countries such as Australia, also seem to show greater occurance of this disease.
