His brother Abdimalik Isaaq owns SOMTV. Abdimalik produced Waayaha Cusub and directed Cali Cawrala. This guy is Siciid, the older brother.

Correction, USAID has never visited southern Somalia. Its off limits to USG employees. The group that visited were Somali contractors of a US organization that won a contract to implement a USAID program in Somalia. The only cities visited by USAID staff have been Hargeisa and Garowe.

I wish this man and his colleagues all of the best in working in Bulletweyn which will be no duck walk like Ceelwaq, Bulo Xawo, Luuq and Doolow.

Well, working in Somalia is inherently risky You will hear gunfire. You will be at risk of a kidnapping or robbery. You will deal with people constantly asking for jobs, contracts or qaaran. You will be forced to sleep/work in uncomfortable environments. You will have to deal with staff who will try to game you. You will always deal with qabiil nonsense as your every decision is examined through the qabiil prism. You will suffer from character assassination, rumors and other crap. You will deal with staff who are NOT easily fired, you need to pay them to go away.

All in all, working in Somalia really makes you one tough person
