Somali folk tales

For the longest time I thought the shilin in "Sheekoy sheeko, sheeko xariira, shilin ba dhustay, Gofana sheegay...." was shilimaad like coins!! I just found out today that its based on a real story and shilin and gofana et al. are all characters in the story. SMH. Who knows the story and can pretty much summarize it in a paragraph?

Are there any other essential Somali bed-time/folk tales I should know other than dheg-dheer and cigaal shidad?

Haa walaal wanogahay in sheeko walba lagu bilabo ee lakin waxa layidhi sheeko dhan oo kusahbsan gofana iyo shilinka aya jira. Like theres a whole story about them. Magaratay? I just found that interesting.
