Post by Tanker »

THE END OF AN ERA ,PART ONE

In a warm balmy night in December 1990 in Mogadishu the Somali capital an exciting and marvelous party is going on for the nations elite among them are the young Marehan General Voltage and his young cute wife OliveOil head of the "Somali Women Organisation" Voltage tells the guests to be quiet and begins his speech " Oh My Dear fellow countrymen JalleYaal after 21 years our beloved socialist revolutionary government has created significant economic and social progress in our beloved motherland Somalia.... one of the guests XimanJalle Director of Radio Mogadishu with its repetitive and boring songs " Father Siyad" " Nolow Jalle Siyad" screams Viva Marehan Power! a young handsome man called Based a product of the enlightened Kacaan calms him down, Voltage is clearly embarrassed by the savage outcry from XimanJalle and continues his speech and " thats why jalleyaal we need to support Father Siyad" Everybody applauds him.... except a bald man in his late thirties AbdiWahab who stares at voltage with bitter eyes, the Jerberti rule disgusts him while he enjoys a luxury life provided by the Jerberti Regime... but then he smiles remembering how the USC rebels among them ,Hutuking, Blackvelvet, TheBlueNWhite, is advancing towards Mogadishu that an area of jerberti rule will soon come to end.... The presidents first wife Mama Nabeela once a strong women now weakened has appointed Advo as her intelligence chief she questioned him have you defeated the USC rebels? yes yes yes he says little does she know that he have spend the last 6 months partying in the nigths clubs of Europe...gunshots are heard..... continues......

Tanker,

The SNM never made it to Xamar (unless you're writing an epic story that spans the entire somali peninsula); Why don't you make me an international spy supersleuth hero professor revolutionary chef, a man of mystery and all around good guy with a Big iron on his hip and a double barrelled cannon in his briefs…I think that would give readers a tiny glimpse of my most humble abilities
