Your opinion on tahriib

Post by AbdiJohnson »

Do you feel sorry for them? Are you against their mission?

I support them. It would be selfish and hypocritical of me to be against what they are doing.

I'm 100% against it. I really feel sorry for the kids that do tahriib. I know they want a better life but going far away from home and risking your life ain't the way.

I remember a few years ago, there was a string of incidents of people who were raped and killed on the way there. One in particular was women who were being raped and having batteries shoved up their vaginal canal, and they'd obviously die from the poisoning and abuse. The men on the boat were killed when they tried to interfere.

If it can be done safely, of course. But there will always be those sadists who can and will abuse the vulnerability of the weak.

Just saw a video of somali woman in Malta talking about how dangerous tahriib was and how the arabs in sudan and libya strip naked her while looking for money and killing anyone without money on the spot. Very sad wlhi and people were eating each other on the boat after running out of food and water when their boat broke down in the middle of the Mediterranean sea. The video is on youtube but don't want to post it here too much qabiil in it.

Exactly...I can't recommend tahriib just because there are too many opportunities for horrible occurrences....especially if Arabs are in control of the trip!

These people pay tens of thousands to be put in compromising situations without a guarantee of safety or arrival to the West. I don't blame them for wanting a better life but I can't see why you wouldn't put your money to better use? Why not just travel to a nearby refugee camp and file for papers? Or use that money for education or a business? Tahriib is so precarious..not even worth it.

I am against illegal human trafficking because if you fall under criminals not only will they take thousands of dollars and drain you financially but they could as well cut you up and sell your organs in the black market not to mentions the possibility of selling females as slaves, yeap slaves.

When a man pays thousands of dollars to come to the west, when his neighbors probably eat every other day then its hard to feel for such person.

I wouldn't take comfort on the lost of those who died at sea but some make you wonder what were they thinking.

But why the hell not. If a man want to come to the west to better themselves then by all means.

You know what amazes me more than someone paying 10s of thousands of dollars for some arab to molest them or to die in an overcrowded boat? It's the ones who make it to the west with all the free education, healthcare and jobs and still choose to be Maqaaxi-warlords, thugs, drug-dealers and uneducated benefit-frauds.

Tahriibis spend 5-10 years in transit and/or adjusting to their new country. By which time they'll have forgotten what it was they were searching for.
