I hate when people generalize, Some of us who live in MN for almost all of their lives have never had any assistant from the Government (Al xamdullillah) My parents worked hard, and let us play hard, We went to school, graduated from Universities, got our dream jobs. So please people stop assuming every Somali who lives in MN sits on their asses all day ( well I do actually sit on my ass, but I get paid. And I have a computer, and sometimes I make personal phone calls because I do what I want when I want) and wait hand outs from the Government.

They say Mexico makes up the largest immigrants to Washington and India is second...yet it's rare for me to come across them in the population centers. Mexicans are in some of the farms way in eastern Washington on the rural farms and some Indians work for Amazon. ..besides that I would say East Asians and East Africans are the largest migrants to be honest.

These freshie Koreans, Taiwanese and Ethiopians and Somalia are everywhere nowadays.
