Marriage: The perfect on paper guy/girl
How much slack are you willing to offer to the ones who have all you're looking for on paper?
Say they meet and surpass all your expectations when it comes to education, family, career, ka-ching, looks but there is something not quite right with the connection. They're okay, the conversation is okay, you suppose you're attracted, they're interesting in their own way. But you didn't get the zap connection, the je ne sais quoi moment, the oh my goodness wow when you think about them.
Would you still marry this person?

Do you get along with them? Will they respect you and treat you well? Be a good spouse and parent? If all those answers are yes, go for it, the rest will come.

We've been with you from the start. You really do owe it to us to let us know and keep us posted when you meet Mr.Jasmine.Its the least you could do.

Really? As a guy I would have thought you'd be less willing to settle on the chemistry aspect.

I will make multiple topics all through the courtship phase to pick your brains.
Now for the mean time, answer the question walaaley. Are you more like Shrib or is it a deal breaker?

Re: Marriage: The perfect on paper guy/girl
Like Shirib, I would compromise. Ideally there should be a good balance between his 'potential abo of my kids' trait and our 'chemistry'.
If he has good foundation/knowledge of deen, practices, educated, good fam, principled, dignified (plus all that good stuff) and we get along albeit without the 'spark', then its all good.
And anyway, people grow on each other... If you think about it, you didn't pick your family, you were born into them and learnt to adapt/work around their character.
