My Stance,

I would like to discuss my stance on the banning policy on snet. A lot of you were “baffled” when I said people should openly say what they think on this forum. I tried to explain why with Trojan horse comment as example. But this is bigger then Trojan horse theory. I will try one last time to explain the whole picture.

Here is my stance on the open door policy on snet

If someone hates bantu people and believes they should be wiped from Somalia. I want these people to post it on the internet. If there are people who wish Hargesia to be bomb again I want these people to share this. If people hate islam and muslims and they insult the Prophet (pbuh) I want them to share what’s in their mind

I want all these illogical people to come out of the closet and post their verbal Diarrhea on the internet. Do you know what I want more? I want all the logical people with reason and with knowledge to confront these people on the interent.

Some of you are like Why? Why SimplySerene? Why? Why do you want this to happen?

Here is why. These ignorant illogical people are attacking people. They are killing people.

A while back some random guy attack my mom on the street. Because of her attire and she had to go the hospital and she is still recovering.

These illogical people are on the internet. Their hate and anger is growing. I want all the people with reason to confront them. I want us to confront the qabilist who want other tribes to die. I want us to confront the islamophobics. I want all the ignorant and illogical people to be addressed.

The easiest way to deal with these people is on the internet. Are you going to wait until illogical person confronts you on the streets and says disgusting thing about the prophet(pbuh) and then attacks you. Are you waiting for that moment? Are you waiting when they attack your family member?

That is the state the world . Is not about non-muslims vs muslims. It’s about logical and illogical. The easiest way to deal with these people is on the internet.


If you block these people out and do not give them a venue to speak out then don’t be surprised when things escalate further and world gets worst.

The internet is tool to change peoples views without getting violent.

I say let all these people come out of the closet and it’s our duty to confront them. I rather do it here now then later on the streets.

If you guys really believe in Allah(swt) then you know when there is hardship then will be a reward.

I really feel like we need to wake up and address these people. I honestly feel like the course we taking now is not working. I want it to change

If people continue to insult me and write lies about me. I will invest some time addressing you. I have ignored comments before because I didn't have time, but I will make time now. Your behavior will no longer be ignore by me. I will comment on your posts. I am directing this message to 26June1960 and jalaaludin5. Just because someone has different opinion then you that does not give you to right to insult people. Grow up and use your words. I won't skip your posts again. I will respond the next time your insult or lie about me again.

If you still think I am wrong by all means explain why? I have no problems with changing my views.

Let's discuss the whether or not somalinet should be a more open door and attempt to avoid banning members. So far I could only think of one type of people to ban

I have been doing it , because it is the RIGHT thing to do { fighting all the weirdos, racists, the majority of a certain tribe , etc etc etc}, not because I had anything to gain or were afraid .

No one attacked me. I used an example of how things are escalating and explained why the interne is useful in dealing with these issues.

Oh come on serene. So if someone insults our Prophet scw, we should let them bash the prophet freely and don't do anything, what kind of logic is that? At the end of the day this is a somali forum, and last time I checked majority of Somalis are muslim. Like I said previously, I will not tolerate someone bad mouthing Allah swt, my prophet scw and my religion. So no they will not bash what's sacred to me freely.
