Cerigabo about to get its first asphalat road

The first ever asphalted road in Erigavo , the capital of the largest region in Somaliland started yesterday.
The road which will pass through the high street will connect to the main road leading to Burao of Toghdheer region through Garadag , and Eil Afweyne towns of Sanaag. This is good news for the people of Erigavo who have patiently waited for the coming of this kind of the infrastructure of the city.

Ceerigabo and Sanaag in general have been neglected by the previous regime
and Somaliland governments along the years. I mean just look at the state of the town ...

Inshaallah, once this road is finished, it will grow at least by 10% each year in terms of population. And with populations,
comes the market and capital (investment) I can already the price of land going so up of the charts the next 5-7 years.

So you better buy as much plots as you can now ...

Politics is different than you think. From political point of view Hargeisa and LA are the same to me even if I don't like dhulmahantes. in other words I don't believe that I have more rights than dhuloos under Somaliland flag.

Yh, that's why since 1991 till today the only project in Ceerigaabo is (not was) a road that links it to Burco.
