The innocent people of Somalia's north western regions have been sold the false and distorted promise of obtaining international recognition for the last quarter of a century. It is the corrupt and crooked political elite who have preyed on the venerability of the population in the absence of a central government.

This is what two of the worlds leading nations have to say about Somali sovereignty.

The United States recognizes the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Somalia within its 1960 borders in accordance with the Somali provisional constitution, which includes Somaliland. USA

The UK Government is sympathetic to the idea of a federal Somalia. This would include Somaliland, with which the UK Government has a positive relationship, co-operating on development, counter-terrorism and piracy issues, but which it does not (and will not) recognise as an independent state. UK

Surely, the deceitful and treacherous northern politicians have a once of dignity left in them to liberate the innocent population of the hopeless and impossible indoctrination to turmoil for Somalia has resurrected, a government is born and now begins a new era of peace and prosperity for Somalis.
