Grandpa, samaan ka shaqay ina adeer, xumaan haka shaqayn.
Abdi Waayeel is a man of stature in Mareexaan and perhaps Ciid went about it the wrong way. i can tell you nothing Ciid did was informed by anything beyond Marehan internal affairs. He acted specifically on the orders of odayaasha Balanbale.
All in all mistakes happen and Abdi Waayeel did have a role in the chain of events. Though I think it is high time to move on amd forgive, Cabdi Waayeel naming a Balanbale deegaan council without Uurmidig or of the caliber of the first announcement is a serious and really honestly almost unforgivable offense. It is not a mistake; the effect it had was an offense.
When Ciid removed him from the post the first time, what happened?
Mr Waayeel named a second council where nothing changed but Marehan.
That reality is the admission that Ciid's action was not without merit.
And I will be clear, the reason Marehan political power brokers have not publicly interfered is because they "had" and "intervention" with Ciid where Ciid "verbatim" told them "He (Ciid" feels and "he is sure they see it as well too" that the 1st administration named for Balanbale was a "disqualifying" act.
He said that Grandpa and not a single man, of all MR you can think of, waliba disproportionately reer Diini/reer Mudug---contested his statement that "they all know the 1st maamul could not be excused."
Basically, at this point, offenses were taken multiple ways and the move on from here is to forgive even if someone was misinformed.
And I will be completely honest with you Grandpa, it doesn't look nor does it feel good when you see the tribal tenor to this so raw barely under the surface with Ciid being Celi and few reer Diini chasing after him. This is all literally that Marehan were talking about.
That is not the clan I want to belong to and in fact that's primarily why the aggressive attack on Ciid failed. That is not the clan Marehan is . I know this is not the vantage point that was informing your response; this is more personal with xidid---but all in all what happened happened, I think it is best for them ans best for Marehan if reconciliation is supported rather than xumaan.
With that said, until you see Marehan clans taking back their confidence in Galmudug and say we are out with their traditional elders, there is no purpose to attacking individual politicians unfairly and arbitrarily. They didn't put Marehan in Galmudug and they can't take Marehan out. That's for Marehan as a qabiil with odayaal and dhaqan.
