An Envoy of SSC Mothers depart Abudwaq with a send off by the Sade Ugaas.

The SSC women's envoy was led by former Dhulbahante deputy mayor for women's affairs Asha Kiin.

Among some of the things they achieved;

-Abudwaq has the only Somali National University (SNU) branch outside of Mogadishu and SSC students will have an apportioned slot for students from Las Anod
-The students will live with voluntary 'host' families for free
-The Gedo Women's Association based in Columbus, Ohio that runs all Abudwaq clinics and trains nurses/midwives will unite with a Sool association for combining both Abudwaq and Las Anod MCHs
-Hirda based in the Netherlands which runs Abudwaq's nationally #1 school Shire Jama Ahmed Secondary will build a magnet school in Las Anod employing the same strategy it has used for Shire Jama Ahmed the last 20 years
-A number of social, educational, and civil partnership agreements and understandings have been reached

Why would HSM/Hawiye care about the impoverished Darod parts of Sool, Sanaag and Buhodle when it only makes up only around 20% of Somaliland/British Protectorate. What use is destroyed Las Anod to Somalia if the vast majority of Somaliland inhabited by Isaaq plus Awdal is out of reach
