Nothing Lasts Forever!
Indeed nothing does last forever.I think i have finally cured myself from somalinet addiction.I finally can celebrate my triumphant achievement of staying away from this site for more than 6 weeks.Certainly the 'new' Somalinet horrific design really helps in my 10 steps to recovery. My God-what is with the laughing monkey emoticom? You know i can NEVER use this emoticom even if my life depended on it. I rather swim in a regurgitative pool of puke. But on a less grosser light, i have to thank whoever the genius who came up with this design, truly he has assisted me in staying away from this place. Therefore, i thank you Danyeer & Co.(Is Somalinet going Bankrupt?) I have truly grown spiritually and emotionally for the past weeks i was MIA.I now can claim i have finally lived up to one of my New year resolution goals. That was to quit Somalinet and be a nicer, sweet Humanbeing.(Not that i was never sweet before,i do believe somalinet is a bad influence, if you know what i mean) I find myself completely serene and beaming when i stayed away from this forums.I meditate with a sense of robust existance.I find myself civilly evolving, gradually and authentically more jovial.I find myself utterly blessed with new limitless posibilities awaiting me out there in the world.I find myself changed. 2007,brings new possibilities to my life, no doubt. Mashallah, i did make a prayer to Allah in the beginning of this year, i particularly remember the time of the prayer- it was during the break of dawn. Mashallah - Allah has granted me with the key components of my prayers; i find myself utterly mixed with feelings of delight & fright of my answered prayers.(Be careful what u wish for lol) I am not acustomed to adopting to changes and find myself deliciously challenged,-alhamdhulilah.Inshallah, i shall be guided by Allah in my new environment and consequently have a smooth transition in this one hundred & eighty degree turn of events. I Have a fantastic new job that pays a great deal more,(so much money that i dont know what to do with it really lol), a new 'Home', and most especially a new demanding life.I am extremely busy nowadays, Another very healthy thing that has enabled me to have successes in my 10 steps recovery to de-somalinetize myself. I do confess, once in a blue moon i am tempted to surf the forum and read the anecdotes of familiar names. ( Cilmiile is always a delight to read. LOL. ) But these temptations are extremely rare.I mean, imagine now- i am sitting here close to midnight typing this message. Imagine i sacrificed my beauty sleep just to say hello to you all- this alone can tell you how altered my life has become.Time is money as my fellow Americans say. lol Alhamdhulilah-- i thank Allah for all that he has blessed me with. Not to confuse everyone, i have not turned into a scary Evangelical Sunni--who is wearing a rather imposing burkah--not that there is anything wrong with that of course. I am merely saying that a change in my life is moderately thanks to Allah- subhanallah. Also not apologize my moderate Sunni position of course. What i am saying is: I am a growing development. (My Wave to Aiman)
Anyway- i do miss my fav people like Kamal, Cawar, and my little usual suspect clowns such as Maria, Baby, Kambuli, Galia etc etc etc ---i wish them the very BEST of all in this magical new year. I hope You all live and prosper in your endeavors. Pray for me to have a quick succession of adjustment to my Brand New life. It is scary believe me, but i am fully prepared to combat it with all my charm & vigor! LOL.
Avez bon vie mon chere'ssssss ( Have A good Life everyone ) LOL
PS: I do apologize if i didn't sign out with my usual signature- i refuse to exit Somalinet, with a chimp qosol emoticom!!!!

Everything will eventually come to an end
So try to savor the moment, cuz time flies don't it
The beauty of life, you gotta make it last for the better
Cuz nothin' lasts forever

Re: Nothing Lasts Forever!
Yes, Basra truly nothing last forever and the world around us is always changing, yesterday we were kids and today we find ourselves as adults and tomorrow we shall be six feet below the ground.
Good people have come and gone in Somali net just like good people come and go in this life.
I hope that Allah favours you well in this life and more importantly the next, and I hope all your dreams and wishes come true for you.
