     | Unrecorded Date Salaamun cala mani tabaca hudaa, It is my seventh year in this part of the world. I've travelled between the two slands twice. Over three years I was involved in Somali community activities in the main cities that most Somalis are said to reside in the region (ie, Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, Wellington). What did my study found? It has been realized that Somalis migrated to Australasian are of no proportional; attractive girls/women are enormously lower than their proportion in the community. Over 5000 wide Somalis whom I've either met or heard about them in the region, there have been carefully estimated to be between 15-25 of such successfull (in some form of life, ie., white-colour job), educated (up to tertiary level), beautiful (>average)and from a top Somalian family (as one would like to describe depending on what background)women. Yet, among the number mentioned above, are married (most), divorced, widowed and unmarried (least) respectively in number wise. This simple but fact finding resulted in that in Somalian population of about 7,500 in this region, there are potentialy maximum of 38 such girls, which make up 00.5% of the total population. While their men counterpart are of a well-proportional status in the regional community. About 1:4 ratio of such women:men is very commonly supported. Although I'am bachelor, this research was not based on personal objectives and it was utterly clear of any personal influency and purposes. While there're also no apparent intentions to get attention in revealing this; may be provoking fact, everyone concerned is urged on to help criticize the elements and the basis of the findings presented. For those who may play possum or uncertain of what is going on, this is an absolute play-ground to stir the possum. And (expectantly)the very few of you who wanna play personal and have the guts, am happy to defend my simple study with facts and figures...just feel free & welcome through my e-mail. N.B, very thoroughly studied statistical comparisons are made from Somali communities in N.America & regions in europe. | | Tuesday, March 13, 2001 - 10:14 pm G"Day ppl... well, well, well what have we here...Sir Leyli, a research u say u have conducted...umm ok and where did u get the information about ur lil research and how was it conducted??? by reading ur 1st posting where u discussed a lil about ur research...well i'm just curious 2 how u went about in conducting this lil experiment of urs, i mean what did u do go out and picked a few somalis 2 do ur practical on??? or is it a personal opion in which u chose 2 create and come up with a so called anaysis of how u think ur community ranks in beauty and education. well let me just state some defults in ur research...ur research is not random sampled...coz not every memeber of the somali community had an equal chance of being selected in ur experiment coz know1 knew about it. it is a non-probability sample.and subjects appear 2 have been self selected...so how and where did u go 2 conduct this particular study of urs??? a certain suburb or something??? i mean here u r comin in2 this somali forums claiming u have conducted this experiment (with no visual proof of ur actually findings and how u conduct it) using it as a ticket 2 diss ur fellow muslim ppl???i don't get u. and 4 all u other ppl who be hatting ur somali sisters u need 2 gain respect coz these sisters r ur mums, auntys and blood sisters so in other word u also hatting ur family. ppl think...all this hate and •••• ain't gonna get u ppl no where"  as 4 educationally wise...ppl r trying harder and we have hope there r lots of brothers and sisters whom r in uni and as every year goes by the amount of somalis getting top marks r increasing in this country..."never discourage any1 who is making progress, no matter how slow" (Plato)... and as far as ur theory about "top family"... where'd u come up wit that load of crap from no 1 family is better then another...god created each and every1 of us equally and there 4 no1 nor family is more superior then another... salaalz and peace u'all love the 1 and only NUBIAN-ANGEL
