Since to love the scholars is one of the good things..and liked by Allah, to spread their names and mention good about them ....I want each of us to share which scholars of the past the most you admire...and you like the most? why... tell us something you like about him...or resepect him for...or story that made you admire and resepect him... or his books...you seen... as for me I would post mine scholar later..insha Allah. if you have more than one mention them... this it benifts each one of us, maybe some one who does not know that scholars he will go and read his book... please let be scholars of Ahul-sunnah on the way of scholars of hadith... This i'm afraid might lead to unnecessary debates about the scholars and result in name calling and defaming of scholars. It might be wise not to start this discussion. Allahu a'lam Ofcourse, if everyone doesn't think my concerns are valid then it is fine.

Its really sad if speaking about the scholars will cause that problem... I mean there is people here who want to argue about almost anything...its either we post, or we leave the whole discussion board... I know what you mean some of the people might come and praise scholars of innvators and put down scholar they don't like..I thought it was better to ignore and continuee..if they speak bad it's between them And Allah...scholars will get good deed...since these people are so rich in hassanat they want to make donation to the scholars.. but if thats the case, I will accept your advice Since I can't earse my post....I ask people to stop posting insha Allah ...if its going to make fitna I will not post anything... wasalamu aleykum -------------------------------- any one wants .... continue go www.al-sunnah.com go board room...at http://209.15.140.178/vb/index.php3 you will find the post... there is some menitoring...there, no fitna...very peacefull...

I'm sure your intention and effort, here, is to do a good thing for the people but, as TLG said this may cause and start discrepancies and arguments among poeple. Scholars are all trying to propagate the "Deen" and, as human beings, have their shortcomings. May Allah increase our knowledge all.
