From carrying research i have managed to find only some answers but not this particular one. Ethiopian and Eritrean look alike Somalian people. If you think the reason some somalis have dark skins and other light skin is becaue prophet's companion migrated to somalia, what about Ethiopian and Eritrean people in ethiopia and eritrea? I know many somalis who have mixed. Somali/Arab----shaanshi. Somali/Italian--misiyooni.

| | Saturday, February 03, 2001 - 03:04 pm Salamu calaykum It has always been my understanding that some somali people have light skin colour and soft hair due to inter marriage with arabs, italians, portugees and indians... there were even chinese road builders in parts of somalia at one point... Let us appretiate the diversity... alhamdullilah In my eyes though we all still look too alike and fear the constant in-breeding that takes place... so called "keeping it in the tribe" policy  What next?
