Looking East, and the Hegira year, We are one year closer to meet Allah, as we step in to the 1422th year after the famous flight of Prophet Muhammad from Makkah to Madinah. Many people have their their forms and receipts ready for the IRS. How many people have their hasanaat ready in case they die today? How many days have you missed fajr prayer? How many days have you prayed fajr with Jamaa'ah? How many unresolved sins do you have? When was the last time that you have read Quraan? Do you remember to say your daily thikir? How many days have you missed to say? and What was more important than thikir to preocupy you? Have you visited a sick Bro/Sis lately? How much donations have you spent year last year? How many people have you enjoyed backbiting? How many lies have you told? How many ill gotten money have you amassed? How many people have you caused their worries? How many times have you attended funerals? How many days did you fast last year? Three accomplishments that Allah loves that you attained last year? Three sins that you have stopped last year? If you die tonight, What would you tell Allah?
