During the month of Ramadan, I will post hadiths, regarding and/or about Ramadan! I hope you enjoy it!
Please, do not reply to these hadiths, as they're only educating...and not debateable! For all Muslims, Ramadan Mubarak!
FIRST ONE:
[ ONE: Abu Hurairah (RAA) reported that the messenger of Allah (SAW) said what
translated means:
" When the month of Ramadan begins, the gates of heaven are opened,
the gates of hell are closed and the devils are chained. "

TWO: Anas bin Malik (RAA) reported that the messenger of Allah said what
translated means:
" Have a meal before dawn (Suhoor/Sehri). There is blessing in it. "

THREE: Sahl bin Sa'ad (RAA) reported that the messenger of Allah said what
translated means:
" The people will remain on the right path as long as they hasten
the break of their fasts. "

FOUR: Omar bin Al-Khattab (RAA) reported that the messenger of Allah (PBUH) said
what translated means:
" When night falls from this side (the east) and the sun sets from this
side (the west), the fasting person should break his fast."

Abu Hurairah (RAA) reported that the prophet (SAW) said what translated
means:
" If a fasting person forgetfully eats or drinks, he should complete
his fast. What he had consumed has been given to him by Allah. "

SIXTH HADITH:
Amer bin Rabee'ah said that he had seen the messenger of Allah innumerable
times cleaning his teeth with siwak* during his fasts.

* a siwak is a twig cut from a certain kind of tree and processed for
cleaning teeth with!( af-somali= caday!)

one of the rights a husband has over his
wife during the month of ramadan is that
his wife can and is allowed to taste the
food she is cooking for her husband.
if she does this, her fast will not break. |

SEVENTH HADITH!
Abd Allah bin Abbas (RAA) reported that the messenger of Allah (SAW) was
the most generous among the people. He used to be even more generous in
the month of Ramadan when (the angel) Jebreel met with him. He (Jebreel)
used to come to the prophet (SAW) every night of Ramadan for the prophet
(SAW) to recite the Quran to him. When Jebreel met him, the prophet
(SAW) used to be more generous than a fast wind (which brings rain and
welfare to the people).

salaam guys, the guy is saying he does not deny all hadeeths and you guys are telling him he does.!!!
please guys, leave the guy alone. he is reporting good sound hadeeths and you want him to disbelieve hadeeth! let's say that ahmed said one time that all hadeeths can not be trusted to have been correct and taken to be sound sayings of our prophet....is that wrong? no one believes that all hadeeths are sound.
and lets say that ahmed said one time something wrong and he made a mistake by saying abu huraira did not tell the truth.....i do not understand why you keep preasuring him to admit to that or even to deny it?...why don't you leave the issue alone so as not to commit sin again.....by urging him to commit sin again, don't you know that you are also sharing the sin with him? |

I never said that I don't believe in Hadiths! It's very much true that I don't believe that All of the hadiths are true hadiths(THIS is what me and others were arguing about!) ALSO, the other thing that I don't believe is that the Qur`an is insufficient without the Hadiths...and that is BULL! The Qur`an is the most completed Book anyone could see---because God did NOT leave out anything in the Book! SO, Diehard, please don't be confused!
It is true, God does NOT need Abu Hurairah or any other person to translate His words(to tell us what "God meant" or "wants to say!") I don't mind translators telling us where/when/why the verse was revealed, etc.
NOW, you said about following my teachings, etc. What do you mean??? `Cause, it's me now who is confused! I don't have "teachings" Diehard! I come here to share what I learned(as I learn it)...and AS i have had in the past, from Suffism to Aqwanul-Muslimiin to Wahabiya, it's another part of living and being Muslim; to strife for the Truth! So, please, don't think i have "teachings" and all! :)
p.s. this is the first time EVER i'm thinking there is a light ahead in the tunnel for the Truth! :))

Well, i'm glad somebody FINALLY notices it!hahaha!As I learned, Somalis(mostly) read more into what you say than you really say! :)
As for the mistakes, of course, i'm human---this means I'm due to mistake! It is human to make mistakes(AND BOY...have I made MANY MANY of them in my life-time...and i'm just in my early twenties!) :)

EIGHTH:
The mother of the believers Aisha (RAA) reported what translated means:
"The messenger of Allah (SAW) used to kiss and embrace his wives while
he was fasting and he was more able to control his desires than
any of you."

NINTH:
The mother of believers Aisha (RAA) reported that the messenger of Allah
(SAW) would wake up at dawn in a state of Janabah (ceremonial impurity) as
a result of intimate contact with his wife, take a bath (for purification)
and observe the fast.

TENTH:
Abu Hurairah (RAA) reported that the prophet (PBUH) said what translated
means:
"Whoever prays at night the whole month of Ramadan will have his
previous sins forgiven."

Asalama Alaykum!
ELEVENTH HADITH!
{The mother of believers Aisha (RAA) said that the messenger of Allah
(SAW) went to the mosque late at a night (in Ramadan) and prayed. Some
people prayed with him. The next morning people talked about it, so more
people showed up for the prayer the next night. The prophet (SAW) lead
them in prayer. As people mentioned this to others, more people came for
prayer on the third night and prayed behind the prophet (SAW). When the
fourth night came, there were so many people in the mosque there was no
room left. The prophet (SAW) did not come out for prayer that night. He
came at dawn for the Fajr prayer after which he informed the people:
" I was aware of your gathering but I was afraid that the night prayer
would be enjoined upon you and you might not be able to observe it. "
The messenger of Allah (SAW) passed away with the situation thus (i.e,
people prayer the night prayer individually).

NOTE: This hadith teaches us some very good lessons. In the time of the Children of Israel, they forbade themselves to some food(camels, some fish, etc!)...and when the Torah was revealed, they were forbidden to eat those food! Imagine that, `eh? God tells us that in 3:93!
We, SOMALIS, have done this...more ways than one. We were too proud over things that God made LAWFUL to us! Many Somalis could never marry a Jewish woman or a Midgan woman; both being lawful to them to take in Marriage. Many somalis would never marry a MUSHUNGULI woman!
We divine beauty in different way than God defines it.
Our Men do not help the house-chores with their wives or family.
All of those things and more and nearly forbidden when GOD made it lawful for us. I believe with all my heart that Qur`an was the Last Scripture sent to man. HOWEVER, as an example, if we were to recieve another Book---do you not think all of those would be FORBIDDEN to us? Lets fear of God...and not deserve His wrath...nor die any state except Islam!

[TWELFTH HADITH!
Abd Al-Rahman bin Abd Al-Qarri said: " I went with Omar bin Al-Khattab to
the mosque during a night in Ramadan. We saw people praying individually
or in small groups. Omar said: 'In my opinion, it is better to unite these
people under the leadership of one reciter.' Omar (RAA) united them in
prayer with Obbai bin Ka'ab as their imam. Omar said: 'This is a good
innovation. The prayer they sleep through (late night prayer) is
better than the one they are performing (Taraweeh prayed early in the
night).' "

THIRTEENTH
Abd Allah bin Abbas (RAA) narrated:
" The messenger of Allah (SAW) had set out for Mecca in Ramadan while
fasting. When he reached al-Kadeed (a place on the way), he broke his
fast (during the day) and so did the people who were traveling with
him."

FOURTEENTH
Jaber bin Abd Allah (RAA) reported that the messenger of Allah (SAW) was
on a journey and saw a crowd of people shading a man. He asked what the
matter was. He was told that the person being shaded was fasting. The
prophet (SAW) said what translated means:
" It is not righteous to fast while traveling. "

FIFTEENTH
Abu Hurairah (RAA) reported that the prophet (SAW) said what translated
means:
" Stay away from continuous fasting (fasting for more than one day
without breaking the fast at sundown in between)!"
Someone protested: "But you do, messenger of Allah."
The prophet (SAW) responded: "My Lord gives me food and drink during my
sleep. Do deeds that are within your power."

SIXTEENTH
Abu Hurairah (RAA) reported that the messenger of Allah (SAW) said what
translated means:
" He who does not give up false (untruthful) speech and (evil) actions,
Allah needs NOT him abandoning his food and drink (i.e. his fast is
not accepted). "

God is forever Merciful; He lets us not fast during our Travelings, that is as Merciful as it gets! God is Merciful...and He knows what we can/cannot bear! The Mercifulness in God is un-graspable to man's mind! Glory is to Him who has Mercy to all Mankind(and is not in-sufficient to anything!) Blessed BE HIM; The Lord of the Worlds!

his waste belt (i.e, work hard or keep away from intimacy with
his wives), pray all night, and wake up his family for the night
prayers. "

The mother of the believers Aisha (RAA) related that the prophet (SAW)
used to observe E'etitaaf (restricting one's stay to the mosque for
worship) in the last ten days of Ramadan until he passed away. His wives
followed this practice after his death.

Asalama Alaykum!
Abu Hurairah (RAA) reported that a bedouin came to the messenger of Allah
(SAW) and asked what translated means:
" Guide me to such a deed that would lead me to paradise if I performed
it. "
Allah's messenger (SAW) said what translated means:
" Worship Allah and do not associate anything with Him. Establish
the obligatory prayer. Pay obligatory zakat. Fast for the month of
Ramadan. "
The bedouin swore by Allah that he would not do anything more than that.
When the bedouin left, the messenger of Allah (SAW) said:
" If you would like to look at a man of paradise, let him look at this
man. "
Al-Bukhari
Abu Hurairah (RAA) reported that the messenger of Allah (SAW) said what
translated means:
"He whom Allah has given wealth but fails to pay its due zakat will
find his wealth on the day of resurrection in the shape of a
bald-headed poisonous snake with two black spots over the eyes (or
two poisonous glands in its mouth). The snake will encircle his neck
and bite the sides of his mouth saying: " I am your wealth, I am your
treasure. "
Allah's messenger (SAW) then recited verse 180 of surat Al-Imran (3):
" Let not those who covetously withhold of the gifts which Allah has given
them of His grace think that it is good for them: nay, it will be the
worse for them: soon shall the things which they covetously withheld be
tied to their necks like a twisted collar on the day of Judgement. To
Allah belongs the heritage of the heaven and the earth; and Allah is
well-acquainted with all that you do. " (Yusuf Ali translation)

Adam ilaa iyo Muxammad iyo intii nebi/rasuul u dhexaysay, nabad-gelyo iyo naxariis dushooda ha`ahaatee, waxay wadeen diintii Alle oo ah Islaam---taas iska DHAADHICI marka hore!
Midaan ah in diintaan la bed-bedelayna, taas waa dhibaatada haysata BINI AADAM. Waxay Alle ka raacaan Shaydaan iyo ehelkiis. OGOW, Yaasmiiney, runtii dadkii diintaas bed-bedelay...waxay ahaayeen BINI ADAM---welina dadku waa Bini Adam. Dadkii Nebi Nuux, qoomkii Caad iyo Thamuud, qoomul Fircoon, Midyan, iwm, dhamaantood waxay ahaayeen dad Alle diintiisa baray---oo hadana ku caasiyay(diiday, ama inta bartey...ku cayaaray!) Weligaa iyo Allehaa maka fakartey sababta ILAAHAY inoogu sheego dadkaan Qur`aanka? Hadii aan Nebi Muxammad(scw) iyo wixii ka dambeeya kaliya aan daliil u soo qabsan karno---maxay Qur`aankeena uga buuxaan...Oo Mar WALBA Alle inoo xasuusinaya; qoom after qoom after qoom! Macnaha ku jira weligaa ma`is-waydiisay? Mise Wadaadada leh; "MAYA, iska ilaawa kuwaas" baa kula tagey?
Midaan ah gudniinka fircooniga. Walaal, xadiiska aniga ma dhihin ama waa diciif/saxiix---STILL waa xadiis:
{Umm 'Atiyyah, may Allah be pleased with her, reported that there was a woman in Al-Madinah who performed circumcision. The Prophet (peace be upon him), said to her:
"Don't cut deep or exaggerate in circumcising; it is better for the woman's contentment and more beloved to her husband (i.e. to cut only a little)." (Sunan Abu Dawood in "The Book of Manners", and he indicated that it is a weak hadeeth [da'eef])} Walaal, waxa la lee-yahay ha la jaro *XOOGAA* waa CLITORISka...hadii meeshaas la jaro, haba yaraatee, gudniinku waa FIRCOONI! {Circumcision for women is done by cutting a piece of the clitoris, and the sunnah is not to cut all of it, but a part of it (Al-Mawsoo'ah al-Fiqhiyyah 19/28)!}
{In his book Al-Mughni, Imam Ibn Qudama (may Allaah have mercy upon him) said: "As for circumcision, it is obligatory for men, (but not women); for women, it is considered as a good practice. This is the opinion of many scholars". Imam Ahmed said "(for) the man, it is more serious and critical, ... (and as for the woman) it is less significant." 1/70}

person who devours usury (interest), the person who pays it, the
person who writes the contract and the two witnesses. He (SAW) said
they were all equal.

Some Muslim scholars say that *interest* is not exactly Usury...but reality, it is a MODERN usury. May God's Mercy be upon us to not fall into the curse of God and His Apostles! Accept it from us, Lord!

{Abd Allah son of Omar (RAA) reported that Allah's messenger (SAW) made
zakat al-fitr mandatory - a sa'a (~ 3 kg; 7 lb) of dates or a sa'a of
barley - due on every slave and free-man, every male and female, on the
young and the old among the Muslims. He instructed that this zakat be paid
before heading out for Eid prayer.

{Abu Hurairah (RAA) reported that the prophet (SAW) said what translated
means:
" The five daily prayers one to the next, Friday prayers from one
week to the next, and Ramadan to the next Ramadan expiate for the
sins committed in between them as long as the major sins were
avoided."

Hhhhhmmm, so many sins must be forgiven, `eh? God is Most Merciful---All Power-Full, All-Good, All-Just, All-Great, All-best, All-everything...None is like him!
The book; "When bad things happen to good people"---the Jew who wrote it(a religious leader himself) says that God is not All-Powerful; imagine that? The curse of the Lord is upon those who think of God as *poor* or *less-powerfull*...People wonder why HELL was neccesary---and why man was casted into this earth...with the Rebbeled-One(Satan!) Worst kind of people are those who try to make God and His Works less GREAT! Blessed is He who planted in my heart...the Greatness of the Lord; Allahu Akbar!

" Whoever fasts Ramadan in sincere faith hoping for a reward
from Allah, his past sins will be forgiven. Whoever stands in prayer
in the night of Qadr out of sincere faith and hoping for a reward from
Allah, all his previous sins will be forgiven. "

{Sahl (RAA) reported that the messenger of Allah (SAW) said what
translated means:
" In paradise, there a gate called Al-Rayyan through which those
who have fasted enter on the day of resurrection. No one else
will be allowed to go through it. It would be said: "Where are
those who have fasted? " They will stand up in response and no
one else will enter through that gate. Once they have all passed,
the gate will be closed not to be entered by anyone else after
that. "

"Begin fasting (for the month of Ramadan) when you see it (the crescent
