ayub | Unrecorded Date first of all, if someone does not perform prayers does not necessarily mean that he or she is a kufar and in the same way if someone does perform his or her prayers on & off does not necessarily mean that he or she is a hypocrite. i mean we do not know what is in the heart of a person, be he a performer of salaat or one who does it on & off or a muslim who does not even perform his or her prayers. but in my opinion, taaruku-salaat, the one who does the prayers on & off is better than the one who does not. Why? because at least, the one who performs his or her salaats on & off has a chance of 50x50 of dying in the state of obedience and forgiveness. However, the one who does not even pray his or her salaat is surely going to die in the state of disobedience. we all sin and the best of us is the one who keeps coming back to Allah and asks forgiveness and wishes to have a contact with his LORD. the worst sinner among us is the one who never asks forgiveness and never wants contact with his LORD. the prophet said the five times daily prayers wash away sins. it is like you are in all day a river that is running at front of your house. Would dirt be on your body if you take a bath 5 times in a river running at front of your house? |
