Asalama Alaykum!

This is the most corrupted thought---EVER! Muslims, mostly sunni, have the tendecy if anyone does not match with all of their beliefs, that one must be *unbeliever!* OH, WELL, nothing can be more farther from the Truth.

Islam has a barrier---where one is IN...and one can be OUT.

God tells us in the Qur`an;

"[2.130] And who forsakes the religion of Ibrahim but he who makes himself a fool, and most certainly We chose him in this world, and in the hereafter he is most surely among the righteous.
[2.131] When his Lord said to him, Be a Muslim, he said: I submit myself to the Lord of the worlds.
[2.132] And the same did Ibrahim enjoin on his sons and (so did) Yaqoub. O my sons! surely Allah has chosen for you (this)faith, therefore die not unless you are Muslims.
[2.133] Nay! were you witnesses when death visited Yaqoub, when he said to his sons: What will you serve after me? They said: We will serve your God and the God of your fathers, Ibrahim and Ismail and Ishaq, one God only, and to Him do we submit."

What was the religion of Ibraahiim? Islam. What was required of them to be Muslims? To serve NONE but God! This is the barrier! LAA ILAHA ILLALAH! Also, the barrier has another barrier with it; MUHAMMADAN RASULLULAH! This is to identify that we believe and TAKE the last Prophet as our Prophet. We have Jews who serve none but God...but they rebelled against God and denied His Prophets! They're not Muslims any more. How can you serve someone and not take his orders??? SO, the Muhammadan Rasullulah identifies us that we TOOK from God our very last Prophet as the Messanger of Allah! "[33.40] Muhammad is not the father of any of your men, but he is the Apostle of Allah and the Last of the prophets; and Allah is cognizant of all things."

If three generations purily succeeded one after another while in the same generation. Moses' believers were Muslims, and Jesus' believers were Muslims, and Muhammad's believers are Muslims. ALL three must believe in all---as all are from God. IF, some deny the other---like Jews denied Jesus...or the X-tians/Jews denied Muhammad, the barrier is broken. SOME are out-of-the barrier.

SO, if one person lived in all three times...one would MUST believe in ALL to be in the barrier. If one stopped at Jesus...one stayed behind, same with Jews.

Thus, in Moses' time...it was a MUST you had believed and declared your believe in him as the Messanger of God to be a Muslim. Same with Jesus' and Muhammad's. And whenever the last, one must believe the one before(if it was mentioned to one!) THIS is Islam.

SO, everything after LAA ILAHA ILALLAH, MUHAMMADAN RASULULLAH...is a deed. Islam is said to be a HOUSE which is stood in five pillars. in the midst of the pillars is that of the shahadah. The *HOUSE* make up the status of the person's soul in the hereafter. IF the soul had built all the pillars in the soul(while alive and well here on earth)...the soul is too strenghtened to break. IF, only that midst of pillar is taken while here on earth, even though still Muslim(and will NOT abode in hell)...the soul would not be able to stand and would break to hell(somewhere we NEVER want to be even in one second!)

CERTAIN things...that are connected with the shahadah are being a believer(because it comes with the package...if you believe in ALLAH, you must also serve HIM;) "4.136] O you who believe! believe in Allah and His Apostle and the Book which He has revealed to His Apostle and the Book which He revealed before; and whoever disbelieves in Allah and His angels and His apostles and the last day, he indeed strays off into a remote error."

Thus, for me, the ONLY people whom I can call *unbelievers* who claim to be *muslims* are the small sect in the shia that believes Ali was God(God-forbid!) This is because this goes out of the barrier of SERVING NONE BUT ALLAH! God tells us over and over...the most unforgiveable offense of all is serving someone other than God. Please, note, sharing the glory(in his prayers, hajj, like many muslims do...etc!) does not apply to this--since this is not serving but sharing! Some people call it *shirkul asqar*...but i don't think there is anything *asqar* about it! It is just not serving another god...but it is idoltory(in FULL!)

I cannot think of the person's soul in the hereafter, or what will be its weight...my job is to keep them in the brotherhood while still MUSLIM(EVEN if they don't ful-fill for their souls what they should!)

As long as you believe in Laa ilallaha ilallah Muhammadan Rasulullah, and serve none but Allah...you're in the barrier with me(and I will let you worry about your soul and what should be done by you for it!) Toodles!

Ramadan Mubarak to those who believe!

Peace, Ahmad!

correction: ahmed said: "MUHAMMADAN RASULLULAH!" means "we believe and TAKE the last Prophet as our Prophet", but the correct meaning of mahammadan rasuulu-Allah is: MAHAMMAD IS THE MESSENGER OF ALLAH. maybe ahmed does not believe that our prophet was and is the LAST MESSENGER as well as the LAST PROPHET of ALLAH like the sunnis believe, does he?

Salama....

[2:136] Say (O Muslims): We believe in Allah and that which is revealed to us and that which was revealed to Abraham, and Ishmael, and Isaac, and Jacob, and the tribes, and that which Moses and Jesus received, and that which the prophets received from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and to Him we have surrendered.

Muslim?

A person who freely and consciously accepts the Islamic way of life, and sincerely practices it, is called a Muslim.

More Details....

Who are the Muslims?

One billion people from a vast range of races, nationalities and cultures across the globe - from the southern Philippines to Nigeria - are united by their common Islamic faith. About 18% live in the Arab world; the world's largest Muslim community is in Indonesia; substantial parts of Asia and most of Africa are Muslim, while significant minorities are to be found in the Soviet Union, China, North and South America, and Europe.

What do Muslims believe?

Muslims believe in One, Unique, Incomparable God; in the Angels created by Him; in the prophets through whom His revelations were brought to mankind; in the Day of Judgement and individual accountability for actions; in God's complete authority over human destiny and in life after death. Muslims believe in a chain of prophets starting with Adam and including Noah, Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Job, Moses, Aaron, David, Solomon, Elias, Jonah, John the Baptist, and Jesus, peace be upon them. But God's final message to man, a reconfirmation of the eternal message and a summing-up of all that has gone before was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad through Gabriel.

How does someone become a Muslim?

Simply by saying 'there is no god apart from God, and Muhammad is the Messenger of God.' By this declaration the believer announces his or her faith in all God's messengers, and the scriptures they brought.

Islaam and Muslims

The word "Islaam" is Arabic word which means "submission to the will of God". This word comes from the same root as the Arabic word "Salam", which means "peace". As such, the religion of Islaam teaches that in order to achieve true peace of mind and surety of heart, one must submit to God and live according to His Divinely revealed Law. The most important truth that God revealed to mankind is that there is nothing divine or worthy of being worshipped except for Almighty God, thus all human beings should submit to Him. The word "Muslim" means one who submits to the will of God, regardless of their race, nationality or ethnic background. Being a Muslim entails willful submission and active obedience to God, and living in accordance with His message. Some people mistakenly believe that Islaam is just a religion for Arabs, but nothing could be further from the truth. Not only are there converts to Islaam in every corner of the world, especially in England and America, but by taking a look at the Muslim World from Bosnia to Nigeria, and from Indonesia to Morocco. One can clearly see that Muslims come from many various races, ethnic groups and nationalities. It is also interesting to note that in actuality, more than 80% of all Muslims are not Arabs - there are more Muslims in Indonesia than in the whole Arab World! So though even though it is true that most Arabs are Muslims, the large majority of Muslims are not Arabs. However, anyone who submits completely to God and worships Him alone is a Muslim.

Continuity of the Message

Islaam is not a new religion because "submission to the will of God", i.e. Islaam, has always been the only acceptable religion in the sight of God. For this reason, Islaam is the true "natural religion", and it is the same eternal message revealed through the ages to all of God's prophets and messengers. Muslims believe that all of God's prophets, which include Abraham, Noah, Moses, Jesus and Muhammad, brought the same message of Pure Monotheism. For this reason, the Prophet Muhammad was not the founder of a new religion, as many people mistakenly think, but he was the Final Prophet of Islaam. By revealing His final message to Muhammad, which is an eternal and universal message for all of mankind, God finally fulfilled the covenant that He made with Abraham, who was one of the earliest and greatest prophets. Suffice it to say that the way of Islaam is the same as the way of the prophet Abraham, because both the Bible and the Qur'aan portray Abraham as a towering example of someone who submitted himself completely to God and worshipped Him without intermediaries. Once this is realized, it should be clear that Islaam has the most continuous and universal message of any religion, because all prophets and messengers were "Muslims", i.e. those who submitted to God's will, and they preached "Islaam", i.e. submission to the will of Almighty God.

The Oneness of God

The foundation of the Islaamic faith is belief in the Oneness of Almighty God - the God of Abraham, Noah, Moses and Jesus. Islaam teaches that a pure belief in One God is intuitive in human beings and thus fulfills the natural inclination of the soul. As such, Islaam's concept of God is straightforward, unambiguous and easy to understand. Islaam teaches that the hearts, minds and souls of human beings are fitting receptacles for clear divine revelation, and that God's revelations to man are not clouded by self-contradictory mysteries or irrational ideas. As such, Islaam teaches that even though God cannot be fully comprehended and grasped by our finite human minds, He also does expect us to accept absurd or demonstrably false beliefs about Him. According to the teachings of Islaam, Almighty God is absolutely One and His Oneness should never be compromised by associating partners with Him - neither in worship nor in belief. Due to this, Muslims are required to maintain a direct relationship with God, and therefore all intermediaries are absolutely forbidden. From the Islaamic standpoint, believing in the Oneness of God means to realize that all prayer and worship should be exclusively for God, and that He alone deserves such titles as "Lord" and "Savior". Some religions, even though they believe on "One God", do not make all of their worship and prayers for Him alone. Also, they also give the title of "Lord" to beings that are not All-Knowing, All-Powerful and Un-Changing - even according to their own scriptures. Suffice it to say that according to Islaam, it is not enough that people believe that "God is One", but they must actualize this belief by proper conduct. In short, in the Islaamic concept of God, which is completely based on Divine Revelation, there is no ambiguity in divinity - God is God and man is man. Since God is the only Creator and continual Sustainer of the Universe, He is transcendent above His creation - the Creator and the creature never mix. Islaam teaches that God has a unique nature and that He is free from gender, human weaknesses and beyond anything which human beings can imagine. The Qur'aan teaches that the signs and proofs of God's wisdom, power and existence are evident in the world around us. As such, God calls on man to ponder over the creation in order to build a better understanding of his Creator. Muslims believe that God is Loving, Compassionate and Merciful, and that He is concerned with the daily affairs of human beings. In this, Islaam strikes a unique balance between false religious and philosophical extremes. Some religions and philosophies portray God as just an impersonal "Higher Power" who is uninterested, or unaware, of the life of each individual human. Other religions tend to give God human qualities and teach that He is present in His creation, by being incarnate in someone, something - or even everything. In Islaam, however, Almighty God has clarified the truth by letting mankind know that He is "Compassionate", "Merciful", "Loving" and the "Answerer of Prayers". But He as also emphasized strongly that "there is nothing like unto Him", and that He is high above time, space and His creation. Finally, it should be mentioned that the God that Muslims worship is the same God that Jews and Christians worship - because there is only one God. It is unfortunate that some people mistakenly believe that Muslims worship a different God than Jews and Christians, and that "Allaah" is just the "god of the Arabs". This myth, which has been propagated by the enemies of Islaam, is completely false since the word "Allaah" is simply the Arabic name for Almighty God. It is the same word for God which is used by Arabic-speaking Jews and Christians. However, it should be clarified that even though Muslims worship the same God as Jews and Christian, their concept of Him differs somewhat from the beliefs of other religions - mainly because it is based completely on Divine Revelation from God. For example, Muslims reject the Christian belief that God is a Trinity, not only because the Qur'aan rejects it, but also because if this was God's true nature, He would have clearly revealed it to Abraham, Noah, Jesus and all of the other prophets.

And Last, but not least, Islam is the LAST religion of the monotheists terms that was COMPLETELY set its fundamentals.

I hope it enlightens you in a bit of a wisdom that your question had weighted upon us to answer its precisely answer.

Quite Peace!!

ahmed or waryaa said "I hope it enlightens you in a bit of a wisdom that your question had weighted upon us to answer its precisely answer."

i was looking for precisely answer, but ahmed or waryaa danced around the question and instead talked about something else---one billion muslims, what is muslim or who is muslim......

ahmed said: "for me, the ONLY people whom I can call *unbelievers* who claim to be *muslims* are the small sect in the shia that believes Ali was God(God-forbid!)"

now, what does ahmed think of these other sects who claim to be *muslims*---such as submitters, free thinkers, ahmadia, nation of islam--these *muslims* say that Allah sent another messenger of islam after mahammed? like ahmed, these people say that "MUHAMMADAN RASULLULAH!" means "we believe and TAKE the last Prophet as our Prophet",?

so since ahmed said ""MUHAMMADAN RASULLULAH!" means "we believe and TAKE the last Prophet as
our Prophet",, my question was and still is:

does ahmed not believe that our prophet mahammed was and is the LAST MESSENGER as well as the LAST PROPHET of ALLAH like the sunnis believe?

AHMED does not believe muhammed
to be the last messanger and this is
how HE expressed himself.

"I visited the sites of these people. And most of what they believe is Islam.
OK, so they believe that somebody was a messanger---well, lets start with
this: WAS Muhammad(pbuh) the last Prophet or Messanger? When we solve
this...we'll have our answers! "

So, muhammed being the last messanger needed some agreement on AHMED'S PART.

hey AHMEDDEY MALAAQ.

Why start new nonsense again since you know we don't care about your brand of ISLAM. May be you don't get it do you?...
I thought you decided to stop writing again...
Or was it just your way of escaping to be hunged by the questions you could not answer?..

You are an insecure individual who after so many false notions of being mr perfect saw that he had nothing to go on in the first place.

I guess this is a way you want to reassure yourself to be among muslims. But who in his sane mind would even dare to think that you are a muslim?..

A mediocre person who pictures himself to be an intellectual giant is soon faced with his failures
and stupidity.

I tell you MR AHMED again and again that you would do fine fine talking about something else.
