1-Ciise_Maracad, I know Somalis and their nature. I'm one of them. They do not take anything with force. Soomaali seef lagu muslimiyay haddii ay jiri lahayd, we would have heard it. So, this rules out the SEEF WAX LAGU MUSLIMIYEY, that is if there is a such thing in ISLAM as the compulsion in religion. Maybe you are confused Islam with other religions. Our forefathers probably became Muslims just as other Muslims in other countries became Muslims. Most likely the Arab Muslims intermarried some Somali girls and preached the religion of Islam without bloodshed.
2-How can one be a Muslim without AQIIDO LA'AANTEED? It is like saying, someone is a Christian without Jesus. LoL.
3-I imagine that Somalis, just like other Africans in Africa before Islam, had different pagan beliefs. Maybe our forefathers had the belief of ANIMISM. Have you ever heard WAAQ? |
