Assalamu alleikum all!!

I would like to tell my knowledge about love, and
what I have learned from my parents: how to love;
even though I dont have enough experience about
love itself.

Love its own excuse for being. Its complete in itself and does not need to be supplemented by anything. The greatest saint have been content with
thier love for Allah, desiring nothing else.Love is not love, if its based upon any expectation. In the intensity of divine love, the lover becomes one with the divine beloved. There is no love greater than Allah, there is no law higher than love and there is no goal beyond love, for love in its divine state becomes infinite. And one who has divine love already has Allah.

Love is dynamic in action and contagious in effect.Pure love is matchless in majesty
it has no parallel in power and there is no darkness it cannot dispel. It is the undying flame that has set life aglow. The lasting emancipation of man depends upon his love for Allah and upon Allah's love for one and all.

Love also means suffering and pain for oneself and
happiness for others. To the giver,it is suffering without malice or hatred. To the reciever it is a blessing without obligation.Love alone knows how to give without necessarily bargaining for a return.
There is nothing that love cannot achieve and there is nothing that love cannot
sacrifice.

This is my point of view, regarding "love".
I hope you find interest in that.

Enjoy!

REMEMBER: To love Allah as He ought to be loved,
we must live for Allah and die for Allah, knowing
that the goal of life is to love Allah, and find
Him as our own self..thats what I think the true love is.

Wasalamu alleikum warahmatulah wabarakatuhu!

Hidaayah Ali.
