Whenever I come here I see some disgusting coments on Majerteens whom most of them are baseless, I, myself am not of Majeerteen But as Somalis says "Gaalka dil gartiisana sii" They are one of the most patriotic people in our beloved Nation. Let us look back to our pastin order to know something and to understand the future. Majeerteens had Kingdoms from 17th and 18th Centruy till middle of this century most of were nomads and herding our camel or farming and had no idea was was politics or self governing.
In our recent history, it was Majeerteens who fought against the colonialist. And it was noble man Mohamoud Awale Liibaan who invented our beloved flag that unites all of us. Also it was Dr Muuro who accepted the deadly injection for the sake of his nation. And we all know the story of our previous PM Abdirizak Hagi Hussein and his contribution towards our news nation in terms of socio-political structure.
It is sad to see today people like Abdullahi Yusuf leading them but I beleive that they are still the same people and they have a lot of energy to contribute towards our nation since they have the most educated people in the world.
This is my personal point of view and should also be regarded as so
