There is so much hate among ISSAQ , and the problem is the leadership . I think if we don,t hurry up and find a solution very soon , there will be a civil war in Somaliland. The more the new goverment of Somalia get stronger the worrest the problem of Somaliland will get. |

That is not true at all and the reality in Somaliland is far from what you are saying.Infact the stability of Somaliland is sound and solid that no force in the world can shake its peace. If it is your dream to see Somaliland fall back to instability that will never happen. The people of Somaliland had shown the whole world how to make peace from the bottom-up, without any assistance from the outside world.We did import peace from abroad, it is a home made one and will last. Their experient is unique and has been appreciated by many, who want to use it in many African countries including Somalia. Actually, what the government that you are talking about is trying to do is to fellow the footsteps of Somaliland, in the process of peace making as well as the nation building, which is expanding the administration to the whole country gratually and carefully.
So i am very optimistic about the future of Somaliland. I have been there recently. |

There is no one single true in your statment, the whole world knows that my friend. You just indicated how ignorant you are from the reality. The peole of somaliland have maintained peace and significant economic growth. There is first ever universities in cities of Hargeisa and Boorame.
You will never reach what we achived while you were killing and looting each other. This achieved came through our unity and self determination toward our be loved country Somaliland.

To the person who made this comment dream on, isaaq will never disunite, in the face of so much enemies. You forget brother that isaaq are one strong tribal vein and the blood vessel follows only one way. We have been persecuted, raped, looted and our land stripped to the bone and u expect us to give our enemy the satisfaction of seeing us resorted to you uncivilized ways. NEVER NEVER will that happened. Isaaq is one man and that is how we see ourselves we may have disagreement but, u can't cut your nose to spite your face.
We will rebuild our country, educate our children and let our elders see what they have fought for..the the Somaliland Republic and will damn make sure they have a wonderful retirement in their life time god willing.
So to those political agitators we know who u r and what u are about but, your efforts will more deserving, had u concentrated on your own regions and forget about somaliland,..because we have forgotten about u long time ago, infact the day u try to annihiliate us that is when the bond was irreverably severed.
So leave us alone and may god help u find peace of mind rather then been consumed by deep hatred.
Whatever, u may call us, has no significans as we determine our own destiny,..the people of somaliland have spoken and the majority veiw is that we have gone alone.
So may somalia find peace and may god show u a sense or rather the concept of "humanity". |

On the sarfice Somaliland seem peacfull,but I now the truth.The facts of the matter is the last war that happen in Somalialnd created so much hate among ISSAQ ,and I now that it will be never reparid.Cigaal did something that never happen in the hestory of Durriyada , he used a Gadabuursi clan to kill the Garxajis people. I don,t think we will forget that kind hatred toward us . The some leader who instigated this crime still runs the country . Until Incigaal stays in power ,and the Awal clan steal our resourcess there will be no peace. You can deney it here but the reality is playing out in counry side ,and the cities of Somaliland not to mention outside of the country.
Cigaal will never give up the leadership as he promise this year ,and we have to force him out ,and put him on trial so expect a major war in Somaliland very soon. |

One thing I don't get or seem to understand which is the purpose of this topic and so many others on this net regarding isaaqs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?
Why is there so much hate directed towards the isaaq tribe!!!!?
You see I have got nothing against the southerners or any other somali for that matter,But they need to stop fighting each other,killing,burning and destroying their own houses and cities before any talks of re-unification with the northern part of the country GET YOUR OWN HOUSE IN ORDER FIRST.

Isaakk ppl have some differences.but when it comes figthing against their enemy,they r one.
S/land is something we shed a lot of blood
and lost a lot of heroes for its cause....
so dont expect us to give up s/land we gonna
protect and die for it again...
