I have heard the word Qabil so many time I have seen it being defined in so many ways it varies like the word LOVE it never one thing and relates to all things for the Somali Community. Is Qabil really controlled?
The modern Somali community needs more, definitions but in needs to find more common ground to what qabil means, it divided friends who grow up together and it united cousins who never met before, it brought a sense of brotherhood and in some situation it was worshiped. Like a fever or a disease it destroys or destroyed the Somali community. Well Qabil is a clan a faction a sub clan how can that destroy how? Its clear it’s the way we use qabil or the system we inherited after the colonials. I mentioned the colonials because before them Somali was not a government or a united group and Ethiopia next door was popular not better but popular. This gave the colonials to be favourites or prefers to deal with Ethiopia especially after Sayid Mohamed Abdule hassan made a history of fighter with the English. The point I am trying to prove is the system of the Somali justice was designed for a qabiil against a qabil in a time when the worst weapon was slate and the economical income was not easy but uniformed. Somali was put together by Somalis who understood the change who at the same time used maps designed by the colonials which really doesn’t make any difference but had their limitation, that day the power of Somali elders changed from low makers to colonial interpreters which was not easy but most importantly there was a since of Somalia with speed it was ok. Full stop now we are trying to use old methods with new times its like having an electricity without wires and fuelled by long term wrong social education. We arrived in the point where joke where put down as history where accountability has disappeared with all the clan loving Somalis I haven’t seen a set of statistics that shows what the number of each clan is I haven seen clan leaders who where sacked because the economy of the clan went down or 1000s of young men belonging to the clan died for no reason. And ended up saying every 55year old Somali to be a clan elder. So if you where a pervert in the 60s with the right beard you might be a clan elder, I am sorry for all the Somalis who feel offended not all the clan elders are bad but as people we tend to not proceed from an explanation for a 6 year old and yet we fight like a rage bull when we are crossed. I am not saying Somali’s are formed bad genetically but it just shows we where calling tradition and using methods which only satisfy 100 of degree holders who want to control Somalia because they studied in Europe in the 60’ Our own Cambridge Society. And they came back with pipes. I am not pointing fingers but with the new world we need to identify ourselves as people we must as Somali men stop putting Somali women down (I know Some men Will say he is very European. But to be honest I am very Islamic in this point) which I will explain latter who. I thank the Somali women for Surviving. I don’t need to point fingers at a people but social education I don’t want to blame (I wouldn’t mind making a claim. LOL) TO BE CONTINUED
Hmmm I can some how feel the tension in everyone who will be reading this letter,
They want to know my qabil nothing wrong with that and I find it harmless like asking for an address but some will say oh that qabiil they are either this or that.we must grow out from passing judgements TO BE CONTINUED
