Hi
Ladies and Gents.
I was just surfing internet and by mistake I came up here and some of your discussions here sound so interesting and some not.
Myself Im a somalian by origin not born, but since my both parents came from there,I have studied a lot about Somalia from history to everything and now I think Im getting confused cause from some other things so if you don't mind who Im and just be nice and answer my Question I will be so happy otherwise you have right and Freedom to say anything, okay.
Now as History in all books of the world Proves, Somalia is just 2 countries...Somalia and Somaliland. and that's how the European also followed and colonialized. I have proof and I have been in UN Library here in Washington and thats what they say. So Question>.. where did this so called "Puntland and Jubaland came from?
and who were there colonies? and when did they get Independent? or its just some peoples dream after the broke of Union of Somalia? and did these states no that UN can only recognize a country that has been colonialized and have a date that they get Independent... or did they just waste there time? Prove, the Independence of Eritrea and not Ogaden.
Let me see how you guys have about that.... and never mind where I came from please cause that wont worth into this Discussion' just wanna know if you have Comment that is reasonable.

You are absolutely right and you understood, the point that this guy looking for. As you called what he wrote crap,I want to add rubbish. If he believe what white man said or wrote, he will pay the price. But the question is, did hassan ask himself Somalia and before the white-colony. Did so-called Somaliland exist before colonial. Dear Hassan I'm telling you truth, no one can recognize north-west Somalia as an independent state. However, you pretend as foreigner, but we can understand your corrupted-characteristic. |

Where did puntland come from???
PUNTLAND WAS HERE LONG BEFORE COLONIZERS. SINCE 1600 THERE HAS BEEN A MAJEERTEEN SULTANATE IN PRESENT STATE PUNTLAND.
WE FOUGHT THE ITALIAN FOR 3 YEARS BEFORE THEY BEAT US INN 1927.
SO DONT ASK WHERE PUNTLAND CAME FROM.AND DONT COMPARE IT TO THOSE MIDGANS AND YIBIR IN JUBBALAND!!!! |

You are right! Puntland existed long before the colony.. you do not need to be bothered by a cynical person and his or her ignorance. He said he read books of Somali history from Washington library. I wonder if the chap beleives that washignton library has the facts of world history or of Somalia?? Res assured, washington library do not bear all the history of the world or of Somalia! I have been there myself!
Also being in the West does not make one clever or superior!!! Sorry

As you can see in most of the lands that have been by Europeans there is widespread civil war and anarchy. Why is the case like this. The Europeans succeeded in dividing us by introducing to us a political sysytem that is so rotten with European concepts. This philosophy of nation-state is totally incompatible with how we organize ourselves in spiritual and practical way and its doomed to fail in European countries. |
