I know many of those guys in Somalia's new government frequent this site and here's my free advice:
1- Free and safe travel access in all parts of Somalia.
2- Freedom to live in any part of Somalia.
3- National passport.
4- Please stay away from IMF and World Bank. If you cannot stay away from them, pls hire some Somali economists who have enough knowledge to guide you from where you are into the future.
5- Stay away from Arab League, instead welcome those Asian Tigers to Somalia's resources and consumers.
6- No state owned businesses. You must let the compitition drive the economy.
7- Make your government as small as possible.
8- All Somalis must have access to free education. |

I must congratulate the efforts of those in Djabout and around the world who worked so hard to stablish a government for the people of Somalia, the living and the dead (peace be on their soul).
Please, let us give peace a chance for the sake of our mothers,sisters,daughters, and elders.

and by the way, I should have added that the new government must:
1. supply or over-see constant Electric Power to the entire country; if done so, people will generate their own jobs and improve their own lives.
2. supply or over-see constanct Water supply. This in addition to the first one, shall bring Somalia out of poverty and into the world of Economic competition.
I say this because I am an Electrical Engineer practicing in the States and I know from experience "where there is light and water, there is life"
God said at one point, "Let there be light!"

First I want to congratulate to all Somalis wherever they are in the world. Secondly I know that there is lots of pressure and expectation from this new government. & is almost impossible to be done what we are expected from the government cuz the country is being destroyed 4 10 years. Thirdly I don’t know if one of the parliament members visit this site or not but what I would like to see this new government do is:-
1-The country should be ruled by Islamic rule.
2-Everyone who is in parliament member should stay away from tribe problems I mean it shouldn’t be given rights to give access to their tribe fellow bro & sis something that they don’t have rights to adapt.
3-Treat all Somalis fairly and equally
4-Everyone in the parliament should treat all Somalis equally and fairly not to charge by their tribes.
5-The government should stay away from the western leaders & US leader. It won’t do us anything except trouble.
6-The government should ask to come back the educated Somalis who r resident in overseas.
7-Women should be given the rights to work & do whatever they want as long as they not breaking Islamic rule.
8-Qaad should be banned from the country, & it should be illegal.
9-To give lots of support building hospitals & schools.
10-Give everyone their freedom to build whatever they want.
11-Charge a fair bit of tax whoever has business and other things, so the outcome of the tax can be support with other important things.
12-Free Education rights should be provided to every single Somali. By looking their family income & conditions.
13-Give Somali youth their opportunities to build whatever they want and support them no matter what happens.
10-Government should provide traineeship & apprenticeship to Somali youth & whoever is willing to get a job.
14-Under age children between 7-17 who is suffering to support their lives should be helped.
15-Everyone who is willing to work should be given the opportunity to get jobs.
16-Children’s between 5-18 should be in school. And should not be allowed to be out of school or work.
17-Discrimination should be banned. & Whoever discriminates to any one who is Somali, like their hair types, colour, heights, tribes & etc should be charged.
I don’t know if all this is possible to be provided by the new governament but I wish them all the best and watch them all the way and I hope they make the right discussion to all Somalis. & may Allah make this new government the beginning of new life to Somali people. |
