Here is the scenario. In France the government organizes a mass trial of the so-called "Muslim Fundamentalists" in a gymnasium after its police gun down a Muslim youth in the streets and schools expel Muslim girls for refusing to remove their head dresses. Across the ocean, the US government uses the bombing of its embassies in Nairobi and Dar es Salaam as pretext to send its spies against Muslims all over the world while launching missiles on Sudan and Afghanistan. At the same time Washington maintains murderous sanctions on the Iraq people. In East Africa the US client regimes in Kenya and Uganda launch a witch hunt against the Muslims. The Kenyan government de-registers several Muslim aid organizations. The Ugandan governments rounds up people of Somali origin and accuses them of being the supporters of Osama bin Landen.
In UK the government continues to harass the members of the Nation of Islam by closing their schools and bans the Nation of Islam leader from entering UK. The State of Israel continues its attacks on the Palestinian people by establishing settlements on more of their land and barricading them in the occupied territories.
In Algeria the government continues its murderous war against its own people in the pretext of fighting Muslim "fundamentalists" led by leaders it prevented from forming a government in 1992.
Then when you thought this was the end of the story, here comes Croatia. The Miss Croatia contest is won by a 22-year-old Muslim woman. She is then stripped of the title within 6 days reportedly on the grounds of her being Muslim. The organizers cite irregularities when announcing the decision to retract the title but journalists tackle them with shouts of "fascists".
Who is afraid of Islam and those who identify with it? Young people workers and farmers who hate the injustice they see all around them and fight it and identify with Islam are called names and subjected to torture, harassment and murder. When they refuse to bow to imperialist dictates from US, UK and France and stand up to fight for democracy are demonized. The Palestinians have refused to give in to the Israeli occupations: the Iraqi people have refused to bend under the US pressure even after a murderous war and ruinous sanctions: the Algerians continue to defy the government and its French master: the Sudanese supported Iraq during the Gulf war and organized huge protests against the attacks while maintaining solidarity with the Palestinians: the Somali people taught the American occupying force a very good lesson. Such a fighting spirit is what is behind the hatred for these people by the oppressors and supporters. It is also the inspiration to others who hate oppression and who express solidarity with those who stand against it. This is simply as it is.

Qoyslaaye may allaah reward you for your bassira. This is exactly what has happened and still going on. The west has declare war on Islam long ago. They also increased their brutal attacks after the cold war ended. This is all i know: this religion will stand untill the day of judgement. But how long muslims will tolerate this humilation. Before we point our forefingers to those, let us look closely at ourselves and understand the first enemy of Islam. Really we are against one another, and we are the ones who make those be enemies of Islam in order to get their support and satisfaction which we see that is the only way we can uproot others(brothers in Islam) who have ideas, different from ours.
For example, let us take this current Somali situation; after named the new government of Somalia, some Somalis including warlords claimed that this government was unacceptable because of being or related Muslim Fundamentalist, as they said.
So, what is that? Who is the worst enemy, these or those? Or, we can not say these, because we scare or they come from our tribes and so on.
Any how, the enmity of those exists because of existing these. |

Some points I agree whit you, that as a Muslims we need to clear our act .before we balame others...if you look at the Islamic History the anemy of Islam has been always wide and Strong as it is today.....then again it was Islam who always have the uper hand...The reason cuz Muslims was True believers not the Hiprycrites they are today.
So in my Opinion in order to face the anemy or to even understand what is the anemy of Islam is,we need to understand Islam...then act according to it..Cuz any one who have the true understanding of Islam...may find it hard to act Against Islam....Until then lets all pray and make Ducaa to one onother.insha,allh!
