The so-called president of Somalia can't get any recognition or financial help from the UN, the U.S. or any other country.
He tought that just because Ismail Omar Guelleh appointed him as president of Somalia everything else would follow up, I guess not.
The International community have realised that this so-called president is NOT the president of the somali people and that he has his own agenda in his mind.
The U.S. also realised he is a fundamentalist and they don't like that a bit.
All the warlords are opposed to him. After saying that he will bring back Somaliland by force into Somalia, he denied in an Interview with the BBC and said he will offer decentralization to Somaliland.
It seems that he's backpedaling all of a sudden. He realized he is the president of nobody but himself and his fellow criminal parlientarians.
It's a shame some somalis support this so-called new government. But again, it's gotta be for clan reasons.
Why does he need to bring back Somaliland to the fold???
I don't understand.
It's sad that the former government of Somalia, the one that destroyed the country, is back to finish its job.
But Somaliland has chosen its faith and don't need the rest of Somalia.
I'm just felling sorry for my fellow Somalis in the South.
Hope you guys see the reality about this new so-called government.

Somalia is one state which is called the Somali republic there is no so-called somaliland nor
puntland. About the newly elected transitional government, well it is obvious that it is getting recognition and financial backing from the international community. The Somali state is back
whether you disapprove it or not . The northern part of Somalia is a part of Somalia and will remain that. |

On 1 July 1960 two different states Somaliland and Somalia have joined to formed Republic of Somalia, willingly without any force. Today the Somaliland people have forfeited the lives of their loved once to get the freedom they are enjoying now. Somaliland people have maintained peace and significant economic growth over the past 10 years, they have their own passport, currency, very strong army, five telephone companies, six airlines. There are many forgin businesses who are investing somaliland today. So i suggest you have a close look at your country somalia and do something about the increasing warlords in the streets of mugdisho. Get real my friend it will take you 100 years to rebuild only mugdsho let along other part of your country.
