Dear reader: Somali children are among the most bright children in any field, but what amazes me is that, as soon as any somali teenage sets foot in North America they loose sense of direction, which poses the question, did they have good up-bringing to begin with? Mind you I am not casting any judgement toward the parents. However, these teenage kids act, behave, mimic, and follow the foot steps of gheto tradion. Furthermore, the so called gheto tradion is kind of tradition that is being created by a fatherless(almost 90%), motherless, directionless, demoralized group of people. Thus, is it justified to say, certain somali parents are lost in this jungle called, "North America." Therefore, who is to blame for this self-destruction, is it the father, or the Mother, Keep in mind, that Somali fathers have been the bread winner(s) of the family, which boses the question, why are they not focusing on their most valuable assets(children). As father, I am buffle by the alienation of the somali children. Children will always need both parents to get involve in their(children's)lives. In conclusion, In somali the norm used to be complete family(with both parents)where as in North America the norm is single father/mother. Are The somali Men recilient enough to keep their family together? I let you decide the answer to that question.
