The Council of Ministers for Somaliland government has issued a new passport for Somaliland citizens. It will be issued in the country from Immigration Offices and from Somaliland Missions in foreign nations. There are a number of government that have accepted its use, Ethiopia included and the negotiations are continuing with other nations to help Somaliland citizens to travel in to their nations.
The President of Somaliland Mr. Mohamed H Ibrahim Egal will lead a delegation to Ethiopia in the next few days, and the president and his delegation will use the new passport to travel to Ethiopia. This is a day to remember for Somalilanders.
