I know I am an old fart who is all bent and stooped, about to turn 50 and very much near death's door but I couldn't help but shake my head the other day when this song came on the radio as I was driving along in my beat-up old Tayota. I never even heard of this song before cause usually I listen to the country station, you know, enjoying Conway Twitty, Charlie Pride, Ronnie Hawkins and the like, but this time for some reason the dial was on the pop station.
This girl comes on who is apparently the most popular singer in the whole world. Her name is Britney Sparks or something. So I am listening to the song cause I figure maybe the girl is talented let us hear what she has to say. This is what she had to say:

Correct me if I am wrong here but if you are so scared of this beast that you run and hide in fear for your life why the hell would you wanna hold him tight and be with him day and night. I can understand if you wanna hold him by the throat until his face turns blue, but hold him lovingly?????
Now I know why all these young guys in here are always insulting the girls and calling them hoes and threatening them. I just now realized that the whole thing was a cunningly conceived plan of seduction. Scare them half to death and they will come running to you. This week in Canada there was a big brouhaha about a rapper named M-and-m. The provincial government wanted the Immigration department to stop the guy at the border because he preaches hatred against women!!!! A black man, and a rapper at that, who preaches hatred against women. Stop the presses I think we have a major story here!!!!!!!! SHOCKING!!!!! UNBELIEVABLY SHOCKING!!!!!!!!
