     | Sunday, October 29, 2000 - 02:49 pm first, Iam happily married man with two beautiful daughters. My dilemma is I’m still thinking of my Ex-wife who happens to be an American. Sometime I feel guilty of doing it, other time I just can’t help it but think of her and smile. As I say, I’m happy with my current wife who is ofcourse a beautiful Somali woman. My question I guess is, am I a low life, scum bag, and good for nothing man? Is it unethical and a crime of me thinking of my previous wife? Am I guilty of thinking of my old love, and What can I do to forget my past? Serious replies only please.

| | Wednesday, November 01, 2000 - 04:42 pm BASRA. you are right and i support u 100% , but how can we change those culture from our people. i know it is happening in Mn.i was in class sociology class one time my proffesor said soon there will be big issue btw the state of MN and the somali community . he did not now i was somaliani i asked him y? he said somalis are still practising there culture of mutulating young females. he told me some somalians are sending young girls to somalia so they can be circumsirsed. i asked some somalis sisters if that was true, they said some peopel are still doing but not all the somalis in that state.if u get any idea then post it up. this is epidemic in our society

Even if we know that it don have nuttin to do with the religion( as some of ours ancestus belived).And I heard couple days ago, when I was discussing this issue with some somalian women b4 this generasjon.They say that they were all against it.But they didn't want their girls go and " rape" any guy they left their eys on.Så it's ok to couse littel so much pain to denay them to be awear of their sexuality?? Aint it a naturell thang?? They used a exsampel on that in somalia today ( where in somali i don know) that a theres a group of young girls that goes around and rape men( is it true or nat Allah knows)..some swear on it it's true. And for that reason they want their young girls to be circumsirsed.After my opion it's not a good enougth reason.
