There are several Qur'anand Hadith data Base software in the international market.
In English "Alim Program" combines the best in itself.it has translations of the Qura'an,Bukhari and muslim,some biographies and some Fiqh It's both on diskettes as well as a CD.
Price around $100. it is available with Islamic Book Service,10900W.Washington Street,IndianaPolis, Indiana 46231, USA. that's for an original CD. A copy you can get for Rs 210 -$5- in india from any computer software shop.
In Hadith there is one called "winHadith" it has Bukhari,Muslim,Al-Muwatta and Mishkat with standard search facilities. Price 59 pounds it is available with Al-hidayah Pub.&Dist.Co.,23 Crowford Street,off Baker Street,London WIH IPJ, U.K.
I am not familiar with any of the two above, so cannot comment on their quality, i occasionally use the Arabic ones. But the printed reference work is indispensable.

Quran Database? When you talk about databases you are talking about large collection of information being kept in such programs as Access, SQL server, Oracle, etc. So, if you are looking for the Quran in the form of a database, I don't know if you could find. But I think the best bet would be to call one of the big Islam organizations to help you, or surf the net for more information. |

I believe there is an Access Database, I know a Pakistani Guy I once worked with developed one. But Where to find it, searching the Net would be your best bet.
If you can't find one, maybe it's time to develop one and market it to the islamic Communities. Islam.com
