The definition of that, as previously stated, is a lazy and/or ignorant person. The word negro comes from Latin derived languages (Spanish/ Italian etc). The definition of negro is black. Not necessarily a black person, but the color black. It (negro) has come to mean Black people but not in a negative sense, just in a sense of explaining the color of their skin. It is unfortunate that the white slave owners and traders were ignorant and assumed that there was some direct correlation between negro and niggardly. However, there is no correlation. Nigger means an ignorant or lazy person. It seems fitting that this word would have been used to descibe the lazy, ignorant, borish Europeans who could not stand to work for themselves and as a result enslaved millions of beautiful and strong Africans. Africans who were neither lazy nor ignorant. Africans who were not niggers. Accordingly, if the word is used and directed toward a person of African decent, they should ignore the sayer of such ignorant things and realize who the true NIGGER is.
