I just came to somalinet and was greeted by this great news which I am going to paste after I finish typing. Before I say something about somalinet, let me tall you that I met my fiancee on women's corner (somalinet chat) and I recognized my cousin's voice while he was chatting on the voice chat.

What I learnt over the years using somalinet is that somalis never appriciate what's given to them in life. But I am different and I am proud to thank somalinet for changing how we use the net. Because of you, I spend my online time with my somali people.

By the way, the best news I've read about Somalia is the following one. It opens a new door. Whether you know it or not, you are a national asset and I am proud of you. Abukar

SomaliNet) After months of programming and thousands of code lines, SomaliNet is more than happy to announce SomaliNet Yellow Pages, the first Somali online yellow pages. This free online directory will serve consumers and businesses alike.
For the first time in history, Somali business community and other businesses who deal with Somalis will be able to reach their potential customers through Somalia specific online yellow pages. Consumers will be able to locate businesses by name, city, country or even partial telephone number.

The yellow pages is now functional but it is expected to be months before it reaches maturity.

SomaliNet reaches almost every Somali person with a computer and Internet connection from all over the world, therefore, registering with this free online yellow pages will expose businesses to a wide range of potential customers while their brand names will be distinguishable among Somali people.

Although the software is still in its beta stage, it is fully automated and business owners can register within minutes. Consumers can browse the database in many different ways. For instance, we registered Tortel Canada, a Somali owned leading telecommunications company for test purposes. You can locate this company's information and contact numbers by name, category (business to business), city, country or even by partial telephone number. To test drive SomaliNet Yellow Pages, you can use a "Quick Navigation" form to locate what you are looking for or just browse by category.

What's more? This state of the art online yellow pages is free for consumers as well as businesses. SomaliNet's mission is to help Somalis with their Internet experience.

For more information about the yellow pages, bug report and feedback, please contact us at sbe@somalinet.com

Mecutio, whatever, get the •••• off.
Find who hell are you and then come back. Man is it difficult to say I am Somali or I am not. It is not like deciding if you are lesbian or not.
