wanaagsane | Friday, December 01, 2000 - 12:24 am ASSALAMU CALAYKUM: I have a dream that, the somalis who committed crimes against their fellow somalis will be brought to trial. I have the dream that we shall get a government that is willing to answer calls for justice from the graveyards. I have a dream, that, every somali of average intelligence, will resist, the temptations of tribal nonsence and attempt to mae somalia a better place. I have a dream that somalis will know the importance of education. I have a dream that, we live in harmony with oursleves by analysing our past. I have a dream that those who are responsible for murder, assisanations of the innocent from 1960- today will be prosecuted. I have a dream that there will be accountability in to how public funds will be used in future. I have a dream that somalis will pay taxes to a government for the people. I have a dream that we somalis will tolerate different groups/thoughts. I have a dream that we shall never accept foreign aid. I have a dream that we shall acknowldge our weaknesses. I have a dream that, we make life difficult for any somali who has served as a minister, army-police officer, ambssador, general managers etc...people of positions...when they visit the civilised world......They should have learnt from the PINOCHET story. I have a dream that the name somali/somalia is not taken as a bad example in future. I have a dream that tribe/clan perishes what are your dreams? |

I have a dream that somalia's five parts be united. I have a dream that all people around the world regardless of color, religion and nationality live in peace and harmony. AKA_HONIC | Friday, December 01, 2000 - 11:44 am We can all have dreams, but can't get what we wish for unless we make improvments strating with ourselves. Every Somali person should strive to do something about the current situation in Somalia. Take the United States for example they started with nothing, but strived to become the best. And Martin Luther King had a dream, but Malcom X said to get the freedom or whatever you want, by and means necessary. And thirdy years later black are capable of buying homes, cars, work in nice offices. So the message is don't just dream, take action anyway you can think of that will help you accomplish your goals. |
