Hey, I need some advise.... to make long story short i took this girls virginity, we have been together ever since for about 8 months.
recently she brought to my attention that she was pregnant. She said her parents were going to kill her and she needed to get an abortion. I advised her against that in this holly month of ramadan. Then she gave me an altimatum, either to marry her or that she would get an abortion. I love her but I am not ready for marriage.. So what do u think? |

In the Koran it states that an embryo is formed 40 days after conception, and this is a fetus and yes it's is human. So if you want to have your hands bloody for the rest of your life for taking the life of an innocent child, I strongly advise against abortion. It's bad enough that you committed a sin, but to make matters worse you want to do the ultimate sin and kill an innocent being. You may think I am being melodramatic but your choices for making a sound decision aren't so limited as you state. Abortion should not even be considered in any case, you did the crime and now face the sirens that may be her parents, and the shame that goes along with it.
What do you mean you're not ready for marriage, surely if you are ready to have sex, you can get married to this girl. Alas, don't think you can be like any shrewd bastard and walk away from this mess, it will haunt you for the rest of your life, so my advise to you is to deal with the circumstances up front and do what ever it takes to rid this child of shame, marry her and lets all assume it was conceived in a halal manner.
This is the time for you to be a man, and it's decisions like these that separate the boys from the men. So it's time you owned up to your responsibility, but I think you know what the right decision is. As far as religion is concerned, you can't marry to this girl. You can marry her only when she give birth to that child. It is beyond my understanding, how can a muslim man sleep with a women without marriage contract.
