If that is true, the guys gained a lot. good for him.
However, i hate so-called somali "xaafidul quraans". They make our little lives misserable by reading long suuras when they are leading the prayers. Always they have something to proof.
I guess it is somali thing to show off and always have somthing to proof

Alipapa You shouldn't have any resons to hate another brothers knowledgs of the quran and reading a long suuras does not make or lifes miseralble but rather slap us in the face and say "learn that suura now or improve your knowledge on the quran now".
If the long suuras make your life miserable then your obviously praying for the wrong resons or go pray on your own that way you can get the prayer done qiuckly as possilble which is what your partly saying. This way you not get more points and i think you know that Alipappa. So shame on you (don't call your-self a true muslim).

You see we can argue till yarithulaahul arda wa man calayhaa( the day the universe will be doomed).
But the essence of why earlier point was "if you lead the prayer, you don't need to punish uncle alipapa and his fellas who don't want to hear more than suuratul ikhlaaz by reciting al baqra or cimraan". I doubt if you will get any points from Allah by punishing Alipapa and his fellas who are cursing you under their breath when you are showing off how much quran you know.
And in case you didn't know i only visit the islamic temple only firdaye--to participate the big-getting-together. And the getting-together, it is not allowed to pray alone. That is when those so-called xaafidul quraans make my little life miserable. yeah! i said miserable, big time!.

Q.1) Are you muslim ?
Because what you said in the last paragraph says : "I only vist the islamic temple only firdaye to participate the big-getting-together". Now to me and any other true muslim that does not sound like someone how is muslim, but please correct me if iam wrong.
