America is Arrogant (although truth be told, many nations are arrogant - even the Somalis). But it is hardly doomed nor is it ignorant. Empires and states ebb and flow. America is at a high point right now and because of a number of natural advantages (resources, infrastructure, geography) is likely to remain in the power mix for the foreseeable future. If China can successfully transition to a market economy without serious damage to it's social and economic structures, within 20 years it could emerge as a challenging power. But China has immense problems stemming from a huge population that it poverty stricken. Europe will remain a minor challenger, but is not likely to emerge as a completely united entity and hence will not likely be able to become an equivelant power. The Islamic world and Sub-Saharan Africa are far to politically divisive to reunite in the near future. Russia faces enormous challenges as well - both political and economic.
Although it looks like no major challengers are on the horizon, in fact it is likely that US economic power is going to recede a bit in the near future. Military power will remain a constant, but likely will be used very sparingly. It is also possible the US will simply not want to participate as much in the problems of the rest of the world, unless they impact on the health of the US economy significantly (so, for example, if an "Islamic Revolution" seized control of Saudi Arabia and decided to cut off all oil sales (likely pissing off its own population) and created an oil crisis - the US would react to this. But otherwise you might see US global political involvement recede in the coming years. |

America will be challenged by its own weakness.It has a considerable high rise of Illiteracy.They will have a nation that is completely in need of Intelligent educated citizens,They end up importing workers from third world countries and Europe.Americans are world widely know to be NOT smart.They have shallow minds but adorable,and artistic,which is ok,its Human i guess..in its prime primitive stage.I love them,in an antique sort of way.An appreciation for their innocent charms and wild personality.America has very Educated leaders who are the best in what they do.But the general public's relative scale of Intelligence is scarcely assumed.
If American Government increases their expectation in Education policy and promote high Tech Education to its public,it will create a wonderufl freedom to its public, make better informed citizens.America is a cute artistic country which i love dearly,next to my country Somalia.If they could only concetrate less in breaking other 'likely to be' super power nations and more on the Education of its public and Governemnt,they would most definitely maintain the power they presently have.In anycase,they have this junior Bush as president of united states,-Helooooo-The guy has an I.Q of a carpenter and an E.Q of a Bus driver,how could he lead this nation.And the idea of this Texan joe making Education his personal Presidential Platform is beyond Einstein's laws of gravity!I should say i am most seriously displeased!Also guesing that the next super power likely to be, would be...Russia...once again! looooool |

You guys over-state your case in the EXTREME. America has the best doctors, the best BY FAR intelligence apparatus, the best scientist is the aviation and space flight fields, the best military technicians and the best Army, Air Force and Navay. We can project more lethal force anywhere and anytime than any country has ever been able to do in history. I have made this quote here before, but it seems appropro now.
When the Japanese were preparing to attack America, the brilliant Admiral Yamamoto assembled his officers and told them: "You have been told Americans are a spoiled and weak people. Do not believe this. If America and Japan go to war, we will fight the most aggressive and ruthless enemy the empire has ever encountered."

For all of Americas faults (and like all countries, America has faults) it is still a force to be reckoned with. Supposing otherwise is wishful thinking. |

Every Empire--give a second thought those ‘ancient’ Empires: Usman {Ottoman}, Roman, Tsars, Byzantine, Persian, Greek, Mogul, and finally British--has risen, so does it subside, falling again on its very knees. Nay, some even ‘collapsed’ utterly. And they were all powerful at their peak contemporaries.
As authoritative, dominant, and powerful as United States of ‘A' does at this moment. And U.S.A will be no exceptional. It will sunk. It is only as a solid matter of time. Let time arrive its appointed time. Though, we might found ourselves to be impatient.

This idicates a desire to see it sink. when you think about alternative replacements you should hope it doesn't sink in your lifetime. well....let me add my two cents worth of ideas.....well i think the growing minority population might demand more political rights and unite under one banner.....if the anglo-dominated goverment refuses.....this might lead to serious confrontation.....A fact....by da 2050....the whites will make up 50% of the US Population.The US forever needs more immigrants as the baby boomers age....New workers are needed to support social security n economy as a whole....the other possiblities could be that the whiteman might feel that he and his culture might go extinct as America's youth adopts to one culture driven by media which belongs to the Jewish media moguls.....the white race is only race in north america that feels it might loose it's indentify (color) as people mix and inter-marry.....somalis would second them as more somaliqueens n kings marry non-somalis lol just kidding....Neo Nazis might increase in numbers as more whites feel that they are heading into uncertain future......the other threat to America could be religion as the number of muslims increase....Islam might pick up a pace in America.Another thing could be Isreal might drag America into war with Arabs...n New world war might set off...the last great battle on earth Islam Versus the West n da Jewish...the last threat could be the de-humanising factor that goes on in the America way life....everything from coperate slavery...the gov invading poeple's life....degrading women...lack of moral values.....greed for money n power.....to the physocoligal degradation of the common man.

c. Global warming causes a flood that covers the entire country except the Rockies, whic go broke because all the skiers are killed in the flood.
d. Somalia ends its civil conflict, organizes its Armed Forces, and invades the US. |
