thank you for coming into this page. i hope we could gain something helpful and useful after thid discusion. i don't if this has come across your minds but i can't seem to help but think of my homeland even thouogh its been so long snce i've been back. anyway getting back to the subject, can you pls state any ideas in which you may think might help us in developing our country. after all the internet is to enhance our communication and what is better than to share ideas and thoughts. thank you for your time and i am hoping to hear from people from all walks of life. |

I think that our country needs a lot of help.
I don't know where to start.
1)We first need finance from other countries to re-build what has been destroyed which is a lot.
2)We need a strong government, I am not sure if we have one.
3)We need to educate people and make them aware of the situation in Somalia and gather suggestions of how to make it better. One that does not involve tribally, many of us here could care less about tribal anymore. We realized living out here that brotherhood and sisterhood runs deeper than tribary.
4) We need Somali activists out here who would represent us. I really think that it is people out here that could make a difference.

now that we've experienced the western worlds life style don't you think we deserve to live in our home land in peace? Somalia will never be how you want it to be if we can't get along with each other. we are closer to one another than any other person in this world yet we hate each other like ••••. why is that? yes i know this was due to our forefarthers, but don't you think its about time we changed that mentality,accepted each other and stopped this stupid conflict between the tribes we're all Somali's we share the same language, religion and culture.its up to us to make a difference and throw away the old ideas and develop Somalia once and for all. if we work together it won't be so hard. there will sacrifices that will have to be made, but its for the best! thank you.
spread the word and make a differece! take advantage of what you have, take it back home and do something useful for our motherland! i hope to get possitive feed back!

IF U HAVE A GOOD EDUCATION, THE NEXT STEP WILL BE TO GET A GOOD PAYING JOB WHERE U R. WHEN YOU GET YOURSELF A JOB, SEND SOME MONEY HOME TO YOUR RELATIVES, TRY TO INFLUENCE POLITICAL HEAVYWEIGHTS IN U R COUNTRY, TRY TO DISCUSS THE PROBLEMS OF SOMALIS IN U R PART OF THE WORLD WITH OTHER SOMALIS.....HELP SOMALI KIDS DO WELL IN SCHOOLS (VOLUNTEER TO OFFER THEM AFTER SCHOOL-CLASSES)

i am already sending money back home to my relatives, buy thats not all it i want to help other somali's who don't have any family out here for them and i can't do that alone. all i am saying is t5hat is eveyone willing to to sponser somalia when we all have a decent job! |
