     | Saturday, February 17, 2001 - 09:25 am Hi everyone, If you have not seen the first part of this topic, I am an agnostic Somali, that means I don't disbelieve or believe God, and I believe that human being is not in a position to know whether God exist or not. In other words God and religions are not my concern, but I respect all religions. Please don't confuse with atheism, which categorically deny or does not believe in the existence of God. Please don't also confuse with Christianity, Judaism, Induism or Budda or Animist etc. In the previous discussion some people did a good and usefull discussions others esp. Muslim Somalis (not all of them) show us how uncivilized they are about to accept people who have different faith from them. I hope that this will be a good one Warsame

First, relgion has always been used by the rich to keep the poor at their " rightful" place in Socity. They make U feel guilty, U do something U will go to hell. Second, There is God but not A God. | | Friday, February 23, 2001 - 09:06 pm to the last anonymous (johnnyjake): hahahhahah no one knows what you are talking about...you are just barking like a dog...you are talking about hypocrites...you don't even know the meaning of a hypocrite in islam...and that is not what this discussion is based on...this discussion is about which one (islam or christianity) is the true faith... christianity is a fraud...it is a religion put together by men... proof: mathew, mark, luke and john are the four biggest writers of the bible and they lived centuries after jesus' death...can they do that? saint paul used to kill christians wherever he saw them...he woke up one night and said that he saw jesus in his dream...after that he wrote 15 books which were added to christianity without any hesitation...can he do that? and from the works of these men come the first time where God is said to be three, and God had a son, and so on...these men distorted the message of jesus...so did many other writers of the bible...isn't the bible supposed to be from God, who gives these men the authority to take off or add into the bible... if you are against the fact that these men ditorted the message of jesus...i have one question: why are there atleast 33,000 versions of the bible, and there are no two versions exactly the same? it is very obivious that the message of jesus has been distorted... another proof: christians believe that moses and jesus was sent the same God... in one of the ten commandements revealed to moses it said: "thou shall have no others gods except Me"... and the christians claim that jesus came to preach the trinity... therefore the message of jesus directly contradicts the message of moses... moses was preaching monotheism and jesus was preaching polytheism... this is another proof that the message of jesus was distorted... onesomali you said: "For God so loved the WORLD, that He gave His only Son Jesus..." lets analyze this statement: 1. this statement is associating the qualities of man to God...why does God need to have a son? the whole universe belongs to him...only mortals need to reproduce to keep their generation going on... 2. this statement is indirectly saying that God is weak and can't have anymore children 3. christians believe that jesus died for their sins and they are forgiven no matter what...so you are saying that the killer, the rapist, the robbers are all forgiven and they won't be held accountable for what they did... this statement is saying that God is unfair and doesn't judge ppl fairly... the statement has so many faults in it that any normal person would say that this is not from the creator of the universe... if i said to u fill in the blanks with the most appropriate answer: "FOR _________ SO LOVED THE WORLD THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY SON" if you weren't brainwashed by any priest or anything like that i bet you wouldn't say that the statement is talking about God... it sounds more like a weak, loving old man who only has one son... common ppl use your own intellects...don't blindly follow something that another man has written and got paid for it...it is better to write your own version of the bible and get paid for it rather than following another man's bible... the truth is not far from you...so open your eyes and look around...

It is written in Arabic and is based on Arabic culture. I have seen the Saudi Arabs giving East Africans a hard time, esp. Ethiopians. Saudis like Somalis better because they helped them fight against the Yemenians in the south. Sudanese are the favorite Africans of the Saudis. They get more respect than other arabs.

The Merciful that calls u 5 times aday and says to u "come to pray, come to success, come to florish"... and u know that ur prophet (saw) used to stand (in the Salat) at night til both his feet or legs swelled. He was asked why (he offered such an unbearable prayer) and he said "should i not be a thankful slave"...and let all of us ask ourslves the same question "should we not be a thankful slaves??????? think about it.... if what i have said is right than its all from Allah and i got nothing to do with it and if there was anything wrong is from Shatan and my Nafs May Allah forgive me and u and guide us to His way....and Salla Allah Ala Mohammed and his Sahaba and the Taba3een and us with them inshalah ameeeeeeeen
