i seen a lot of dissing and streotypes about somalis on these shows. they all have to something with been hungry, skinny, and ugliness. and the whole thing was started by will smith. i guess back then there was alot of news about somalis been hungry and starving.
yesterday i saw the same shyt. i was watching wayns bros, and morlin didn't wanna kiss the securtiy girls hand so he said."look at it, so hard and dark, it looks like somalian beef jerky"......i guess it was funny to some people, but it piss the hell out of me. how bout last time he went to this store and there was no food. and he is like "what's this , a somalian supermarket"

Comedians.... They left school when they were young, again they become rich in some how. They realized that the failure was dad/mam, who did not pay attention to their school because they used to watch comedian shows. Now I am rich and I can pay my fees and start enrolling or hire top lectures to compensate the missed lessons. But he did not ask himself "do human brains expire if you grow older"

OK HI ALL,
i just couldn't help but commenting on this particular topic.
first off all i have a short comment 2 make, then i have a couple of questions to ask.
before i came to europe i never even thought that there was any difference between us a somalis and other black africans.
before i came to the UK and actually met the African-Carribean members i have never had expreinced so much rascism specially not from another balck-skinned human being.
as a young man i have really incounterd a very ugly, deliperate, specific and deeply offensive racism by the African-Caribean community....
sadly, i was not the only person 2 have incounterd such hate crimes, but it was commonly shared by the whole of the somali community!
to make the long story short, and i know that 2 wrongs dont make right....
i slowly began to hate back those people who so-unfairly hated me, when i considered them as being part of my people.
.....now as somalis r slowly and slowly becoming a greater community and visible force 2 be reconned with...
and as young people r growing along side the afro-carribeans and other communities...
i can c the situation changing.
i c many somali people actually developing faster then could have ever been anticipated...
in colleges and universities i see almost as many if not more young somalis as afro-carribeans actually graduating or r on theri way to graduation and will actually make something out of them self's.
i can see people now accepting each other, or starting to accept each other.
in conclusion i think that somalis faced racesim from the afro-carribean community at the beginning becasue the later felt competition and feared rivalery...
and people are always scared of what they dont know!
and i'm sure its pretty much the same whether its in other E.U countries or N.America.
regarding the Africanism, we are and its lately been proven amongest the oldest races on this earth along with amhara, nigroes. arabs and jews.
to the brothers who r doubting the complexion of africa, i like ask u all.... do u know that NIGRO people of central. west and parts of southern Africa whom r tend 2 categorised as being the face of Africa, actually form Minority population wise with in the continent.......
EGYPT, LIBYA, TUNISIA, MORROCO, MOURATANIA, ALGERAIA, SUDAN, ETHIOPIA, SOMLAI, ERITARIA, CHAD, MALE, NAGER, NORTHERN NIGERIA, NORTHERN SENEGAL, WESTERN ZAIRE, NORTHERN KENYA, EASTERN TANZANIA, PARTS OF ROWANDA, NORTHERN UGANDA, PARTS OF SOUTH-AFRICA.......
all in all over 350 million people out of the 700million estimated Africa population are and can not b considerd as being niggroes!
but indeed they africans, becasue with out them, what is africa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i like 2 ask the gent's BLACKRAP & Oday-Adoon R U ACTAULLY REALLY aFRICAN-aMERICANS if so r u muslims and how come u can understand somali, i think the only explanation if u r indeed afro-americans THEN u must live among the somali community for u 2 actually know so much about us...
and i'm sure u'll agree, that all somalis dont hate other balcks such afro-americans, but we r humans, and naturally if some 1 shows u hate then u'll respond with hate.
and finally going back to the core issue of this deabte which was the comedians......
i really think its harmless, because i think its not very much over the top and i personally dont consider it as being offensive!
and as some 1 mentioned earlier i think, its rather beneficial because many people r still un-familiar with the term somalia or with people of somali origin, so its rather a self pormation campaign! and through this more people will perhaps become more familair with terms like, somalia, somalis and somalism!!!

Since your approach was gentle and civilized I will reply to you in kind.
As you know, all men are brothers (start from the basics)we are all human beings. Depending on your religious orientation, you know that God told Noah built an ark and to take of the pure creatures of HIS creation - even his family. It is not written but it is assumed that mankind had experimented and made all types of mutant creatures, like the cockatrice, monitor (halfman and half horse, etc etc)Noah and his family were blessed and survived the flood that God destroyed the earth with.
Noah's sons Japhet, Ham and Shem made up all of humanity as we know it now. We all are from Noah. Similarly all the animals are the pure animals that God created and not any mutations.
It is written that after the flood that Noah and his 3 sons took control of the whole earth. They first settled in Babel which is modern-day Iraq and God confused their tongue and many many languages and many tribes of people.
God allocated the earth to Noah's sons. Japhet, the eldest son was given europe,euro-asia and the Isles of the gentiles these are the modern-day white people. Ham was given from the Euprhates river, all of Arabia and all of africa. Hams sons, Kush (Sudan and Ethiopia),Mizraim (egypt) and Punt (somalia) were given their land too.
Shem (who's name means companion) dwelled with the people of both brothers.
It is a known and written fact that all the people from Punt (somalia) Ethiopia and Sudan(Nubia) were blue-black. There are paintings of these people in the tombs of ancient eygpt. In fact it is a comon fact that egyptians would go and request a black man from Punt (somalia)to go to egypt to be a priest. All the paintings and drawings shows Punts (somalians) as blue-black with nappy dread-locks along with the people of ethiopia and sudan. All were blue-black!
Now as you know in modern times there have been alot of mingling with caucasian types in africa. Somalia have been invaded by turks, persians, arabs, hindus, etc etc. Also there have been many non-somali people like the Isaak who came from arabia and settled in somalia. The same migration happened in most of north africa. My thing is - just because you live in africa doesnt mean you are black!
Black has characteristics of having nappy hair broad noses and dark skin.
Like I said before if you can't grow a afro hair style you aint black! All your terms of nigro and other is just the white racist way of classification. Somalis like the Hawiyee and Ogadani are pure somali - other so-called somalis with the straight hair and the causcasion features are mingle people and are closer to the Hindus of India.
There is no race that is older than the next but what you have are pure races and mingled races. If God was to have another flood to destroy the earth HE would chose the pure races and not the mingled.
And to answer your question, the so-called nigros are not hamites nor japhetsite but are shemites.
There is a destinct difference in hamites and shemites. Even though sometimes they look alike they are different.
African Americans are the same as the Yibir clan who the somali people abused. We too were abused by the white people in north and south america. The Yibir people are brothers because we have the same origin. Somalis people, especially the Isaak clan abused our little brother and they will pay!!!!!!! Hey man Somalis can grow afros alright, both my parents and most my aunts/uncles had afros in the 70s (in Somalia)...they looked so cool!
Anyways, what really upsets me is when I see the ladies "perming" their hair, putting chemicals in their hair to straighten it! What's up with that girls? God gave you beautiful curly hair that other women pay serious cash to imitate in salons. I agree with Malcom X, when he wrote in his autobiography, that when you -as a black person- straighten your hair it's like putting the emblem of your shame right there on your head. Mr adoon claimed with no evidence that arabs came to africa using islam as a tool to slave africans.
First of all mr guul didn't open this bage for such topic like that if you wan't to talk about please open your own and express your hatred views.
Secondly arab are citezens of this continent as well as you're and you have NO right to prejudice them,if you think that whites cannot live in africa go your Roman's Lords and kick them out of the south first.
Third even that your saying they came here they didn't come to slave you as the Europiens did to you in west or the south they came to share a life with you,to teach you islam to give you the biggest you've ever got.
Arabs after allah are the one's who saved you worshiping Romans to the God of the Romans,working for the intrest of the Europiens to your communitty intrest,and if you read some other book besides western books you sould know that africa had a life and freedom when the islamic arabic rule were in the world.
