We all have our problems with money or questions about, and the best way, the only way, to find out is ask. So whether you have questions about paying bail, tax returns, investing, banking, scholarships or anything else that comes to mind, this is the place for it. As a soon to be multi-millionare, I am glad to share my knowledge with all those who seek it. So just ask and I'll try my best to give you a decent answer or I'm sure there will be s.o. else in this forums who can.

No, it doesn’t look bad on your credit report to cancel credit cards. A good credit report shows that the borrower has accumulated debt and has been successful at paying it off, or making regular, timely payments...you get the idea.

What really looks bad on your credit report is bankruptcy, late payments, non-payments and liens,
among other things. It has become almost standard to transfer debt to a card with a lower APR and then cancel the first card. That practice has made credit card companies more willing to compete with each other to gain business. So go ahead, cancel all you want-it's not everyday I see a Somali whith the luxury of cancelling their credit cards-no direspect.

Adios.

well that's easy: all your credit history (late payments, bankruptcy etc), they're all recorded in your credit report which all your crditors have access to.
