If you believe that suicide is your only salvation then you must think about one thing: What is there in the act of suicide. It is the weakest, most cowardly act anyone could ever do. Do you consider yourself a coward? Do you think that if you had all those material things you mentioned they would last forever???

Well, we can't choose if we want to be born into this crazy world or not, so let's at least have the right to decide if we want to stay here or not...

Broken-man what you are missing is IMAN.
How selfish and mypoic of you to just focus or your needs, wants and feelings? Think of others who don't even have what you have. Job/education, ability to use the computer, access to computer, ability to write and convey messages using any meduim.
Be a man, go to the nearest mosque and have a talk with the iman. If there isn't a mosque where you are, search for Islamic societies and organizations. Go out, take classes, learn a new trade, pick up a new hobby, hang out with other somalis at coffee shop, put up an ad for e-pals.
BE CREATIVE MAN. If that doesn't work, seek the services of a mental health worker and see if you suffer from chronic depression. Maybe prozac will do the trick.

Praise be to Allaah.

It is not permissible for a man to curse life if he feels fed up, because the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, in a hadeeth qudsi that Allaah says, “The son of Adam offends Me by inveighing against [the vicissitudes of] Time, and I am Time. In My Hand is the alternation of night and day.” It was also narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Do not inveigh against Time, for Allaah is Time”, i.e., He is the One Who is controlling Time. So when man is afflicted with calamity, he must be patient and seek reward, for Allaah has enjoined patience.

And Allaah said to His Prophet ` (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) (interpretation of the meaning):

“This is of the news of the Unseen which We reveal unto you (O Muhammad); neither you nor your people knew it before this. So be patient. Surely, the (good) end is for the Muttaqoon (the pious)” [Hood 11:49]

Let man know that no matter what happens there is something worse than that somewhere else in the world. If he understands that, then his problem will become easier to bear.

From the fatwas of Shaykh Muhammad al-Saalih ‘Uthaymeen for al-Da’wah magazine, issue # 1757, p. 45
Get your shi@t togrther bro.

TO: Broken Man
Islam's view on Suicide>

Committing suicide is a grave sin. Many scholars view a person who has committed suicide as someone who has turned his back on Islam altogether. However, a man committed suicide at the time of the Prophet. The Prophet did not offer the prayer for the deceased person (i.e. janazah prayer for him), but told his companions to offer it. When they did, they obviously prayed Allah to forgive him. Therefore, it is permissible to mention a person who has committed suicide in our supplication and pray Allah to forgive him.

So think bro, committing suicide, is like jumping tho Hell fire. Why would you wanna do that... There are thousands of people in this world who are suffering, but they're still thanked full of what Allah gave them.
