     | Tuesday, March 20, 2001 - 05:34 am Dear My fellow Somali Students in UK. I have meaning to initiate this topic for quite sometime now, but timing was never apropos. The topic is the one I have mentioned as the title of this posting, I think there is a greater need to unify the stem of the new Somalis in the west in general, but I thought that would be our next step forward. As a young Somali erudite " not quite certain that I call myself that…" I identify that we "Somali students in UK" need to have one body that represents us all. I am certain that great preponderance of you out there will accede with me in this matter. As we all aware of were in ominous saga that can be altered if we combine our intellect and Manpower " MAN not as gender wise, those of you who hold of extreme views in gender equality please do not be exasperated". Some of us know there was an attempt from young well meant group of Somali students who wanted to create this immaculate deed, but due to some of their shortcomings they have failed. I believe, we can enliven what they planted, these seeds need to be cultivated in a very careful manner, we shall learn from their inadequacy and flaw.
