Dr Burco | Wednesday, March 28, 2001 - 10:13 pm After reading Muna's tribute to us men. I thought I would share a poem that I wrote to my love about a week ago. Allaah has blessed me with an angel and by selflessly loving, honoring and cherishing her I think I will have saluted all our women. So without further delay, let me sing the praise of my love and thus of all of you Somaali sisters young or old and ancient or present. A poem for the treasure I found *******()******* I had faith it would happen again That clouds new would bring the rain thunder, lightning and green terrain To cool, refresh, arrest the pain *******()******* But, I was not in lover's lane That faithful day my life was changed And you, Fariida, into my life came *******()******* My love, I am drunk with your love--insane My feelings for you dont wax and wane You are constant in my heart and brain *******()******* I feel I found the one for whom I wait That person, whom Allah especially made For me, to be my soul-mate. *******()******* When the sun at night is hid The sky shows the glorious moon City lights glitter when lit But the sun in the morning blooms And Dwarfs all others too soon ************************************* *Glitterers of night are dim at noon* ************************************* *******()******* My love, you are like this sun Beauty like yours there is none Every inch of my heart you have won And with all other women I am done *******()******* With love Dr. Burco; Kown2 |

Dr Burco | Friday, March 30, 2001 - 01:39 pm Basraay, My sweet sister I am glad u liked it, what else can I say your comment was too sweet to quantify. And Somalicream: Walaal your comments similarly were appreciated. I do have a twin except we are intertwined to make one, that is why they call me laba-suule lol. I am also glad you recognize that the little shameless creatures running around and misrepresenting the Somalimen r to the Somalimen as the placenta is to a new born child: to be cut off before delivering a newly born boy. So keep the faith Heaven awaits Dr. Burco |
