Now days, our young Somalis date, without fearing anything. They might say "Oh we wanna have experience you see we don't wanna rush anything".
Question: Why are we trying so hard to be like the westerns? Are we not better?
Dating will sure lead to certain thingd a man and women should discover when they're married. "hey is 21st century" one might say, but shouldn't we fear Allah Almight, all knowing..
Or do we want to pay for what we have done in Dunya, in the hereafter....
Please state your opinion, What do you think about Dating????????

Amiina, that was very well said...This Dunya is just a stop through our journey...20,30 or even 90yrs on this Dunya is nothing at all compared to Eternity, the Hereafter is the real test...I know nobody is perfect...and we all make mistakes, after all we only humnans, but it is always good to learn from our mistakes and not repeat them if we can aviod such things...
Dear brothers/sisters
When you're late for work, don't you panick at what your boss might say to you? Afraid that you might lose your job?
When you don't do your homework, aren't you worried about what your teacher might do to you?
When your cheating on your wife/husband, aren't you afraid that you might get caught?
If people thought and feared Allah as much as they fear people, the world would have been a much better place. Remember, no one will be able to help you on the Day of Judgements when we stand infront of Allah...

whoa! sis that was deep i think u r absolutely right...but i think the biggest problem we have(which is only natural) is forgetting.We just leave experiences behind what i mean by this is like for eg.Just reading that poem i remember when Allah was the only one i could turn to knowing that hed never get tired or bored with my problems,and lately i find myself overlooking those times.I feel the best thing we can do is beg him not to let us disregard who we are or where we came from.For truly we must know where we're from,to know where we're headed ...the path to righteousness.
About the dating issue, i myself tend to not be fully assoctated with it,i mean hangung out is fine but we somali sisters think we can handle anything and that we can be strong enought to stop the relationship when it's exeeding into speeds we know are wrong, but i think once u out there it twice as hard to come back... so my sisters plz always know what u r getting yourselves into.May Allah guide us to a place of everlasting bliss.Ameen. |
