Dear Carnivores,
I am sure you are aware of the foot and mouth decides that has overcome England. The situation is becoming unberable that our election for the next government has been postponed till further notice. However Somali meet eaters how is this effecting? Is sure is effecting my family, MEAT is the backbone of every Somali family, therefore what have you people been eating because I know we are not a fan of fish, vegetable anything that is not Halal.
I know some of you don’t have a clue on what is talking about, I break this down:
1) Foot and mouth effects pigs, cows, lamb, sheep, chicken, anything that has foot and mouth.
2) The animals of foot and mouth experience deadly virus were they die.
3) Our prime minister Tony Blair and my father seem to think that foot and mouth disease is not a problem, but why is half a million of herds have been slaughtered.
Now my father who has been a farmer in Hargeisa told me that when foot and mouth accured with in his animals the meat would still be eadable. He also suggested that I should write to the prime minister and requested for all those animals to be shipped to Somalia. Well it did not harm my father who is alive at 80.
Therefore my ending conclution would be a) should our community worry when our diet consist of Lamb, Lamb, or rice and lamb? b) Are there still some freaks out there who are still eating meat (dose it still taste good)? c) If you have decided not to touch it till the problem is resolved hook me up with couple of veggie recipe I don’t think I can take another prawn recipe.
